Anyone here know of a Petty Blue 73 340 Dart Sport? The car is a project car that had 71 Demon style black stripes on the side and black center chrome modular wheels. The car also had a black center hood stripe. It was a blue bench seat interior. Car was in Arkansas prior to or around 2006. Anyone recall a car similar in Arkansas around that time? Trying to find original motor and owner history.

My Dad bought it back in 2006 (maybe late 2005?), I can't remember exactly. We have been gathering parts for it since. Anyway, I figured I would post up here to see if anyone remembered the car and might know about it or where the #'s matching motor might be. The ole needle in a haystack.
 
That sounds like my old car, Super Blue with a black demon stripe, hood scoop, but it was a driver and didn't have the hood stripe when I sold it. Does it have a 3 speed in the floor, and a 3/19/73 build date? I sold it in 99 in Jonesboro AR, the numbers matching block went with the car, it had a different 73 340 motor in the car at that time. The car came from Cabot AR.
 
I can't recall seeing it here in northeast Arkansas
