Booster Color

I recently got my power booster back from the rebuild shop for my 67 Cuda. They did a great job (Goldline Brakes) on the rebuild however they media blasted the housing and didn't repaint it. Two questions:

1. Wasn't the OE color for this booster a gold anodized looking color
2. Was is paint or a special process - if it was paint where can I get the
proper color?

MY 67 Coupe has the original one in it, and it's semi gloss black. My 69 FB is natural metal with a slight rust coat on it. The boostres are the same one in each. They Look good in black.
