Hello...the upholsterer says that my seat is wrong and should not have the rear corners"cut-out".He says those cutouts are for newer seats with seatbelt retractors. He gave me a seat to try(suppose to be the proper one without the cutouts) but it won't fit...(the rear corners hit the wheelwells. Anyone have a picture of a 1970 Duster rear seat bottom so I can show him? Thanks, Dan

Pics. The black one is a Duster rear seat. Ignore the white one, it's for my E-body.

Not a prob. Since you needed pics of the bottom that fits around the wheelhouses, that's what I took shots of. Just give me descriptions of what you'd like pics of: top, bottom, close ups, not so close ups, and I can dig 'em out of the rafters for more detailed if you want.

I need pics of the top, the bottom, front and the back. I could also use a pic of the front "retainer clips" using a tape measure to show the distance between them(if that makes sense). Thanks Dan...maybe someone has pics without you having to drag the seat out of the rafters. :)

If the pics aren't up by tomorrow morning I'll take all the pics I can. Rafters aren't that high, just need to stand on the trunk of a Neon parked under 'em to get at 'em. By retainer clips, do you mean the hog rings?

i thought all 70 and later back seats were the same, with the posible exception of the fold down seats

I got 26" on the hooks measuring from the outside of one to the inside of the other. This should put the centers at that measurement
