Sandblasted, welded all the seams solid and added Firm Feel reinforcements and discovered that they now have semi-gloss Por-15!

Wow, that looks nice. I thought POR-15 was brush-on, but I see no brush strokes. What gives??

I thought the POR-15 was UV sensitive? Or is this a Semi Gloss topcoat they sell? It looks really good, and should be durable to oils and fluids.

Yes I sprayed it, you have to be careful as it runs pretty easy. I think it is UV sensitive but what they hey it is the bottom of my car. LOL

I love how tough this stuff is just never liked the shiny black as a finish coat. I will use this the the rear differential.

I did the whole front suspension on my 68 Cuda 4 yrs. ago with POR-15 and it still looks like the day I did it. As long as it's where the sun don't shine it's fine. Tough as nails too. I even brushed it on and you can't see any brush strokes it flows out so nice.

So by firmfeel reinforcements you meant copied what they do or had them do your K frame?

Please link your source. Looks great.

You can buy the K-frame kit from firm feel, that is what I did along with the LCA reinforcement. Just weld up all the seams and any places that look like they need it.

Funny, I paid like $48 for a quart of Por-15 semi gloss from my paint supplier and looked up a link to post for you guys and found a great kit for cheap.

Probably enough to do a rear diff or a k-frame.

Here is a cheaper kit with 4oz gloss black.

Wow that stuff sure went up in price since I bought mine a few yrs. back. I got a gallon of Marine clean, a gallon of metal prep, 1 qt. of rust preventative, and 1 qt. of top coat for $97 then.
