Car shows are a joke!

Why is it when you go to a car show there are a bunch of mustangs, camaros, and short box chevs with 10,000 paint jobs nice valve covers and every thing else is mediocer. Dont get me rong there are a lot of nice cars done right but man it gets old when people gawk and are saying things like "man thats a sweet ride" or "golly he put some money into her" when the car has like 250hp and handles like a shoping cart.

Better than the d-bags that go down finance/buy a brand new car(Corvette, Challenger, Mustang, Viper , Camaro etc.) and drive it down to the local car show to put their pocket book on display. At least the above cars you mentioned are articles of American history and the owners actually have made them into nice cars through some hard work rather than taking credit for something that a factory built recently, is overly mass produced and can be seen on an everday basis on the street or down in the local dealership showroom.
