Gotcha. I don’t know how to tune a carb… Tony set timing 16 initial and 36 all in. Don’t remember my jet sizes but car ran good. Maybe I’ll buy a new carb this year and have someone tune it.

10 initial seems a little low, but I know it somehow has to do with your camshaft… I think… On your carb you have 4 adjustment screws correct? I think they should be close to around 1/2-3/4 turns out.

I personally think you should pull your plugs and see what they look like? Is your carb tuned properly?What is your driving style? I don’t have a manual… but when driving I may or may not leave my car in gear longer than I should to hear the noises it makes, especially when I pass parks, cars...

I don’t think I have ever checked my MPGs in my 340…

I’ll go get some this week and maybe put them in. The guy put most of the manifolds in trash bags and then tied them up. I assume that is how he has been storing them in his insulated but not temp controlled shop the past 11 years. I am going to have to start a “how to store all this ****”...

Yeah I definitely see why he said this is the stuff he kept for himself. It’s all in perfect or near new/perfect condition. I’m not even sure what I will do with it all yet. I am for sure feeling super lucky to of randomly met the guy, and very blessed to of been in a position to purchase it...

More. New scat 4in crank, new old school TA converter 3k stall and old school Hughes 3k converter. Brand new W2 heads, 1 set of ported SB heads and 1 set BB (906? I believe) heads. New headers, 6 pack center carbs, 6 pack intakes (one BB and one SB) I need another shelf I think?

Will be getting the big shops trusses redone and then will finish insulating it soon. It has a big shop fan in it now. I’ll also be adding an air conditioning/dehumidifying system in the big shop. I have a smaller insulated shop that will probably house all of the parts…. I’ll grab a couple...

I bought the ones from Sam’s club, they are 220 and have a 2500lb capacity per shelf.

Oh and I don’t need anymore headaches right?! I’ll go buy a couple more racks to store parts on. I told him I’m wasn’t sure what some stuff was but a lot of stuff had boxes and or bags. He is a nice guy, just wants it all gone.

I’ll post lots of pictures when I pick it all up and start sorting it.

I think I’m at like 440k right now? Haven’t looked in a while. I paid a lot of loans off last year and will pay a lot off this year. But if looking at loans as a financial standpoint will paying 440k in loans off in 5 years benefit me me more in the long run rather than investing that 440k...

I need a car hauler… I should just go buy one. It’s not like I won’t use it all the time, lumber is starting to go back up in price around here… probably because it’s spring/summer and people are getting out using it more.
