many years ago i got this sign from the plymouth dealer that was just down the street
make or buy an after market brake peddle that is straight, instead of one that has those bends in it, move it to the left side of the left pivot bracket, and fab a bracket further to the left so the peddle will be straight in line with the rod

i like the trans mount. what are you going to do where the rod ends attach to the plate? seems they would need to be anchored very solid to the plate to keep everything from being able to move laterally

was even planning on using the same fuse block in the same place. decided awhile ago the insert the fuse block mounts to needs to be removeable just like...

the handle usually has a pretty good ratio vs how much the lever at the brake end needs to move. Have you had some one slowly pull the handle while you watch the brake end to see how much movment you get? too much slack in the cabling? parking brake mechanisum not adjusted right to start with...
