Builders: Square engine, Over Square, or Under Square for you?

I've never understoof the emphasis that Mopar guys seem to put on rod ratio. It's much lower in list of priority for proffessional engine builders and race teams.

    Vapor lock- additive?

I cured vapour lock on my 440 by removing the factory fuel pump & fitting a Carter #4594 elec pump. VP lock is usually worse, or causes more problems, at idle & low cruise rpm. That is because the engine is using less fuel. The fuel stays in the pumped & lines longer....getting cooked by the heat.

Can anyone tell from the picture what brand tunnel ram manifold was used on this small block? The picture was taken in the spring of 1974

Saw my first Cybertruck during my drive into work this morning.

And the motorcycle version of these abominations is the Ducati 999, which replaced the most beautiful Italian machine on two wheels. Some people just can't resist ruining beauty. What kind of evil moron kills this, And replaces it with this, "Modern Art Mutant Peniscycle"

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

I always try to go with same height all around, even when I go with different sizes front and rear. I'm looking at 245 60 14 for the rear and 205 70 14 for the front of Vixen. They are very close to the same overall height. That way, I carry one spare, but still have the cool hot rod look.

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

NOW! HERE IS ANOTHER CONCERN ABOUT THE WHEEL WELLS!!! I'm currently on 15 inch tires with a 60 aspect ration. All the tires I am seeing that I like are all 70 aspect ratio. My head is swimming with drawings and numbers.....will the 15 inch /70 tires be taller???? (Over an inch taller by my...

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

With my goal to get the tires inside the wheel wells, my intention is to go with a 15x7 wheel. That way all 4 wheels are the same, and can accomodate up to 9 in width tires. My #1 choice on wheel is the AM Racing AR23 Series (cobo of good looks and good price). #2 would be the US Mags U101 Indy...

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

I believe a 225 will be too tall for the front.

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

That's why I am asking. On mine, I see no need to..1) have a fat *** ties sticking outside the body (I'm not dragging); and 2) The *** up in the air is too much. I figure that I will be putting gas shock on the rear to adjust the height.

    ride height question

The short answer is, no, you can't lower your car any more from where it's at now with the parts you have unless you want your bump stops to be the determining factory of your ride quality instead of your torsion bars. A 1/2" between your bump stop and frame horn, with .92" torsion bars pretty...

    Turning torque for engine

Have heard of some people having issues with 3 core over 2 core radiators due to less surface area of the 3 core. As oldmanRick said, checked the gauge and see if it reading correctly. They do fail sometimes. Would also take a temp gun and checked the temp.

[WANTED] Power Steering complete for 69 Barracuda Slant 6

apologies, i should've been more detailed. you can shorten the shaft and use a coupler (flaming river, universal, etx.) @BergmanAutoCraft probably can hook it up with a top quality coupler and detailed instructions/kit specifically tailored to the install. or just buy a column.

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

Back to the bean counters again. If they can save 1/10,000th of a cent per bolt times millions of exhaust manifold bolts per year, the bean counter justifies his/her position.

2017 ram 2500 broken manifold bolts

Like every proffesion, some are more competant than others, but are far from half wits. The problem these days is the bean counters are looking to keep every cent they can, so excellent designs get sent back to shave some happy cabbage off. I do not think the engineers are happy about it, but...

[WANTED] Power Steering complete for 69 Barracuda Slant 6

He's going from manual to power. The conversion coupler is made for power to manual. He's gonna need a column. He's doing the same thing I'm doing to Vixen.

1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

I also went ahead and cut the lower portion of the rear quarter off all the way around to where it welds onto the valance panel. The driver's side trunk drop off needs the first 3" of the bottom replaced, but I can make that. Now I gotta save up for the rear quarter patch panel too. That will be...
