Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

Got a few things knocked out this week. Radiator is in, upper hose in an 06 Charger RT hose. The lower I purchased didn't work. I think a hose with a 45 degree angle will work. They seem to be a fairly common universal hose. I trimmed the heater hoses up and they laid out nice and neat. My AC...

Yeah, I went back and forth with him for a while but eventually he told me he doesn't have it. I'm thinking that car must be picked clean because everybody seems to get a nay on their requests.

Thank you!! I'm going to be alert to this issue. The old one looks fine and doesn't leak a drop.

    1960 Valiant Restore: advice welcomed.

My only other advice is this. If you're looking at something "wondering" if you should buy it for "maybe a spare" BUY IT. These cars, ESPECIALLY those from 60-62 are really difficult to find parts for.

....and none of the aluminum radiators I've seen fit as good as the stock factory style. I had an aluminum one in Vixen for a while. I got it cheap in a scratch and dent sale. There was NO WAY it would slide down into the core without the fins hitting the fan blades. It was just a poor fit. I...

    1960 Valiant Restore: advice welcomed.

I hear you loud and clear, Barbee. I have always had the deepest respect for tradesmen, mechanics, plumbers, electricians, etc, because they can DO stuff. I opt to try to find someone to do it because of several reasons: I can afford it, barely, and because I work full time and am in an...

    18" Subaru WRX Wheels?

I have 17 Mustang wheels on my 70 Duster. They are OK, but I'm looking for something for a 74 that I'm working. I saw some 18x8.5 Enkei GTC-01 with +40 offset, which is about backset. The car has a 65/67 8.75 set up for an A body. So they may work, depending on the Not sure what that means or...

[WANTED] D 66 Edelbrock dual quad intake

I want to keep this under the hood. I'm an old fart and that is just the way we always did it back in my day. I'm pretty sure I could get it to 12 seconds with a single 4 some 273 massaging, the 4 gear and the right rear end and tires even with Karrin driving. It is the Mythical 273 we are...

Removing the newly purchased HDK suspension, new oem power steering setup, and factory K Frame (which uses the oem steering linkage) and purchasing the QA1 kit with mustang 2 steering rack. It was really hard as I had to throw out about $8k of parts and fab work. When I get another A Body, I...

    Flasher problem

you have one brake light stuck on... does the other work? if memory serves me right, the brake lights run through the turn signal switch. That switch cancels the brake light for the direction the signal is running.

I grew up outside St. Louis. As a young boy I remember my father would take the family on Sunday to see the progress on the Arch. It was a big deal when they were installing the final section.
