    Random Thermoquad Carb

Okay makes sense. The top part of the carb is pretty stuck on so I wanted to see if I could remove anything else to make it even a little bit easier when gently tapping it with a rubber mallet to hopefully loosen it. Thanks guys

Where can I buy a reliable remanufactured 318 for 1971 Duster?

A good convenient guarantee that they are guaranteed to weasel out from under.

You do not remove those. They are permanently bradded on.

    Odometer reset thread question

Is this the proper amount of thread that the odometer reset should have? Wondering because it wont poke through the hole in the dash bezel to screw the knob on, and it doesnt look broken; I have a second speedo that has the same amount of thread. Anyone run into this problem?

    Random Thermoquad Carb

For what you are pointing to on the top, I take the top of the carb off and turn it upside down and then take out the linkage from the hole. IIRC the other things you are pointing to can all stay together. Quick tip: don’t forget about the screws in the choke horn that hold the top on.

    Waterproofish car cover

My thoughts and experience, exactly. I had to put my car out for an entire winter (before it was finished) and the cover I had, which was mainly a dust cover and a blue tarp kept it dry. You can even strap it down under the car if it has grommets.

    [FOR SALE] 1974 A833 4 Speed Trans

Resealed, painted, and a new NOS reverse light switch installed. Filled with Sta-Lube gear oil as recommended by Brewers. New output shaft seal. Ready to install and run. The vin decodes a 74 trans, was told it’s from a 360 Dart Sport, which has the closest ratios for an A body A833. One...

I'd forgotten how ugly the Superbird really was ...

The superbird has more degree in the rake of the wing than the daytona does. This does tend to make the daytona look a little more blocky. I have never seen either of these cars on the street in a regular setting.

    Random Thermoquad Carb

Hello everyone. I'm taking on a little project which involves rebuilding this Thermoquad carb in pretty bad condition. It's not a very sought after model but I'm just doing it for the practice. I'm a bit confused as to how to remove the linkages on one side of the carb. In the pic attached, I...

I have a 69 barracuda with hood mounted turn signals. I am having a heck of a time finding bulbs for them. There are no bulbs in them now, so I don't even know what they look like. They are quite small. Can anybody help me? Thanks, Mike

Where can I buy a reliable remanufactured 318 for 1971 Duster?

Yep that is correct. I used a factory refurbished crank and weighed the original pistons and rod on the big and little ends and matched the new pistons as close as possible to those weights. They was off a couple grams. The 360 is external balanced the harmonic dampner and flex plate is where...

    Lost Ignition #2

Thank you this makes sense that the Blue and Brown are jumped directly without a ballast resistor. That is how I have it. I am working with a non standardized ignition connector. I just realized that on the schematic that on the ignition switch side the wire colors are not oriented the same as...

    Erratic gauges

My 66 Dart has a problem where the gauges will run at normal position for a while then will climb up about a quarter of the way and stay there. At that point, if I turn the lights on and off quickly, or the heater/AC fan, they will drop back down to their normal running position again for a...
