Really just interested in what radiator hoses you used. I only asked about the radiator to see if it was a match. It look similar and his Cold Case has the inlet and outlet on the passenger side as well.

Hey what radiator are you running? I started a thread and tagged you in it at the end asking for help on radiator hoses for a Cold Case radiator. Guessing you didn't see it. BTW, tried to PM you as well, but your inbox is full.

Did you swap to a different radiator or were you already running a Cold Case swap radiator? Drawing a blank.

    Cold Case Radiator Hoses

The Cold Case radiator top connection is towards the center of the car, maybe 6" closer to the centerline than an LX radiator. In the end, the top connection is almost lined right up with the thermostat on the motor. So I don't think an LX one would work. The bottom one is about the same...

    Cold Case Radiator Hoses

Brother is struggling with radiator hoses for his 6.4 swap, running a Cold Case swap radiator with PS inlet and outlet. What has been used to get them to connect without kinking? Part numbers would be great. Thanks!

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

Too funny. I am still weight limited so I had to call in a friend to help me pull my A833OD so I could figure out why it is getting stuck in 4th. No idea where I would be without friends.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I seem to be several characters and sometimes even words ahead of my fingers when I type. And most of the time I get letters out of order because I think my right hand is ahead of my left, or vice versa. So I completely understand. I have to read my posts and emails several times before I...

Sorry you are having the glitches, but I am sure you will work them out and then you can make vulgar displays of power at will. Any ideas on the trans issues?

The OEM fan fuses are a 40 amp and 50 amp based on the diagram I have, so I would be surprised if they only pull 8 amps. Can't remember an OEM fan that pulls so little. I bet the OEM wiring is 10 gage or bigger, too. There is a 10 amp fuse for the control side of the relays, maybe that is...

I am sure the PCM is controlling the fuel pump relay. It does in the OEM setup, no idea why (or how) Sublime would do it any different.

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

I went and looked up my cost, $255 for the cam and $74.08 for the springs. The stupid thing was that it cost me $91.95 for shipping! That was when shipping costs were stupid high, I should have waited. I saw too many people trying to find parts and figured I would rather have them on the...

Hemi Swapping a perfectly good 70 Duster

You are running the cam without a tune? I've seen good numbers with that cam but it was after a tune. Best part is the price, at one point they were less $100 for a 6.4 M6 cam. I think mine was $212 a year or more ago.

Personally, I think the only thing wrong with a 5.7 is the cam. It's better than a stock 5.9, but it is similar in that it just kind of falls on it's face at about 5200 rpm. Put a mild cam in it and it no longer feels like a truck motor. That's why mine is getting a 6.4 M6 cam.

Pretty sure it wasn't a stock 392 in Hart's car. But I agree with being careful either way.

What sensors are needed to use the MSD 6Hemi controller with a 32t crank 6.1L ? I've been told I'd need two 5.7 sensors and then one from the 4.7

Here’s the instructions. https://documents.holley.com/6013.pdf?_gl=1*1p7q4pm*_ga*NDg1Mzk4MDA0LjE3MTM3MTMzMzk.*_ga_W0HV84HP8M*MTcxMzcxMzMzOS4xLjAuMTcxMzcxMzMzOS4wLjAuMA Interesting that it say ‘05-‘07. The ‘08 5.7 and ‘08-‘10 6.1 should be the same, so no idea why they left those out. They...

Have you looked at the instructions? Bet they are online if you haven’t bought the kit yet, and it should cover it. Wouldn’t be surprised if the reference to other motors is just because the same sensor works in those as well as a G3.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

No Bolts Left Behind on YT had an issue with the oil pressure on his 5.7 swap and it turned out to be the wrong pickup. I guess the tab is clocked differently between a VVT motor and no-VVT motor and he had the wrong one so it didn't bolt down square and allowed for a leak. Based on your...

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Weird thing about that comparison is that the Holley motor mounts move the motor forward 1.75" so I would have expected the Holley pan to have the sump slide back when compared to the Jeg's or similar pan. But it appears to be the opposite.

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Another suggestion would be a factory replacement Charger/Challenger radiator and fan. Then you could run factory hoses and plumb in the factory 6.4 oil cooler, too. Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Challenger cluster could display the current gear as well. If so, you could get rid of the one attached to the paddles. I know my wife’s 200 can do it, but not sure on the Challenger. Just a thought.

Right, I know what they look like both in the new Challenger and separate. I just wondered what they look like without the bezel you molded in and if it could be grafted in without the raised lip. You have your bezel separated so I wonder what the IP looked like without the stock bezel. Nice...
