That doesn't look so bad. When you run it, the belt will narrow some and move into the pulley further. You definitely don't want it running in the bottom of the pulley either.

Mike, I have been doing the same thing for many years. Anytime I have a situation where the stock hose will not fit. I either went through the racks in my store to pick out one with the correct angles, or after I retired, I go right into the parts store and go to their hoses and pick out the one...

It's a beautiful day here in Sunny Southern Maryland. Think I will go for a ride on my Harley....

Just be sure to leave the vent hose or filter higher than the gas tank....

Basically it is a return line , or vent...Like Fred said, you can put an extension hose on it and a filter and just keep it in the back of the car....

I have a motorbike, 2018 Yamaha nvx. In Vietnam. I love to drive that way more than driving the car. I've been driving it everywhere in Vietnam for the last 4 months. So I've been home now for less than a week and I'm missing that. Fired up the Harley today, will probably ride tomorrow.

Got to spend some time today with my granddaughter. She will be two in October. Had a great time.

I found and bought my 1960 fuley Corvette when I was 19. It was a mess of course. But I was young and learning, and I restored it. Had that car for 40 years before someone stole it. I always had an affection for the 63 to 67 coups. I would have traded that car for a '67 big block, 4-speed coupe...
