    “Budget” Suspension Build Input

for me, this alone will eliminate several items on the list. narrow, non grippy tires aren't going to be able to take advantage of and utilize some components. don't get me wrong, adjustable strut rods are the cats ***, but they're totally unnecessary for what you're trying to accomplish. i...

    Nicks Garage 383 build

What this all boils down to is....... Uncle Tony was right, like the 225 Slanty, the deck's too tall & the rod's too long for the stroke......the rod angle's too far behind the burn at lower rpm's.............................

Changing the rear quarters on my Dart conv. from a 69 to a 70

The Canadian market had a few things a bit different than we did in the States. Didn't you guys get a GT model in 1970 and 71? I've never seen a Dart convertible past the 1969 model in the States. It is my understanding that none were built for the US market.

    1973 duster temp sensor question

Honestly I feel like its not grounding to the intake. Take a spare sender and hook it up to the cable and then hold the threads to some exposed metal and see if you get some action.

FAIL right out of the package.

i use a zener diode to protect mine buy a VS-40HFR40 Diode Stud mount diode, R in name means reversed anode/cathode Mount it into the bracket as well, and run a wire from the free end to coil negative this stops a voltage spike on the primary side of the coil going higher than 400V something...

    Owner hoping for 50k?

I see a black engine bay and immediately deduct 50% of market value because if the car was owned by a real Mopar guy, the engine bay would be the color of the car. Nothing paintwise was original. The interior is missing numerous components. The seats were not original design. That car wouldn't...

    Magnum head drill fixture

I'm not sure they ever were as a casting. I have a pair of "6671"s that are not cracked between the seats that I can see, but I've got to mag them to be 100% sure. I think there were more cracks developed when the early plenum cover gaskets were failing constantly, putting oil in the cylinders &...

Is it ok to copy a W5 head and make it better or are we just mad at Speedmaster

WOW! Just WOW! I did not know about this happening. I saw in the comments that summit racing is dropping all speedmaster products. I have purchased from speedmaster before. I had no idea they had these kind of business practices! Thats an absolute shame!

Is there a better way to test the sender? It’s just strange cause I bought two different senders from two different companies but they both didn’t move the needle at all

It’s the gauge in the dash not a light. I’m wondering if the voltage is off?

    Owner hoping for 50k?

Lol, I've seen newbs at the dealer really hose it, puddles & drippin' everywhere,....lolol!! It DOES have a preservative effect on stuff like bare aluminum, plastics, etc. that lasts a little while,.....so it's not total BS. It does present much better & helps it stay that way for a while, as...

    Owner hoping for 50k?

We don't want to leave impurities on the surface, they may damage the finish, so we'll drive them off & out with high pressure water...probably lucky the Dr. quarter didn't come off, looks like it was fixed with bubble-wrap, Oh Boy................

I think it's detailing spray, just about every used car on a lot anywhere gets that today, just part of the process.

    1973 duster temp sensor question

Even new ones can be iffy. The fluctuating voltage is perfectly normal. The problem has to be with the sender if grounding the wire gets the gauge up. Are you sure that the sender itself is grounding as it should?

Best Carter 4 Barrel Carburetor for a stock 273?

That’s what I was saying until it was 41 degrees and I was pressed for time early in the morning but couldn’t get the damn thing to idle. Holley VS with electric choke was a good deal. Makes life easier. Start and 10 seconds later pull away like it has efi.

    1973 duster temp sensor question

What sensor are you using? i ran into the same issue with mine and the sensor ( sending unit ) would not work with my factory gauge i ended up installing a aftermarket bosch sensor and gauge. it works fine now. If your gauge moves with the wiring grounded it has to be in the sender. try and find...
