    The factory k frames and frame rail tolerances are very sloppy with these cars. Thats why TTI publishes engine placement specs.     Yes and had to make sure cars could be thrown together quickly on the assembly line and not have pipes hitting frame, gas tank, leaf springs etc. So the small pipes with pinches restrict flow to some extent but were ideal for a production car assembly line purposes.

    Can't speak for the various dyno test comparisons done over the years. But I think a more valid comparison is using an unpinched driver side head pipe when testing the manifolds. Also passengers side heat riser could be partially stuck closed too which would choke power too.
