Prepping for this race coming up. Will be the first Mopar Event I have participated in with Fred. Plan on running without the exhaust for the first time. Also going to remove the rear seat to lighten up the car a bit. Should be good for 150-175 pounds with the exhaust.... lol

I paid $800 for a complete and running 73 Duster with a slant 6. Granted it was a killer deal but there are so many out there for sale that are outrageously priced. If it isn't cherry, it shouldn't have a 5 digit selling price and is definitely over priced.

I have buttons I could use on my shifter but I don't think this would be the best solution for consistency.

I am foot braking the car and delay box isn't allowed in Pro ET. Eventually I will go with a transbrake and when I do, the adjustable button from Biondo or something similar will be in the car.

I think it's overpriced but it is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay.

I thought about doing that as well. Seems like the best solution.... just need to teach myself to apply the brakes on the right side of the pedal since I like to hold the car at the line on the left side. Thanks, Bill

Yeah, that was one of the suggestions I came up with. Just wasn’t sure what everyone else was doing.

Nah, been there done that several times. Getting an RHO which is RAM's replacement for the TRX. Same truck, little lighter with a twin turbo straight six. More towing capacity, better fuel mileage and just a better daily driver for me.

Too many speeding tickets hauling my Duster to @MOPARMAGA 's home track! :steering::lol: All kidding aside, I ordered a new truck and need to put the TRX back to stock to get the most $$$ out of it. Replacement will be almost as cool, just not as fast which I don't need it to be.

This was the best 60’ I saw today. I dumped at the end just to practice racing to the stripe so mph and et is down. 2500 launch, weather was close to the last time out. Car felt like it was leaving a little softer than it did with the loaner converter. ET and mph is about the same the same...

Well I suck…. One n done. New converter leaves different than the loaner I’ve been using. Red lit every hit with most being worse than this one. What really sucks is what my opponent did. lol

Done. Took me just under 7 hours to do. I’m getting too old for this ****. Converter is way better than what PTC first built for me. Best way to describe it is it feels just like the loaner Turbo Action that I had in the car while waiting for PTC to build the new one. Still not enough stall but...

Have I ever mentioned that I hate pulling the trans on my car? New PTC converter showed up today and I’m trying to get it swapped out so I can go race tomorrow night and the weekend.
