Looks like I was searching it wrong. Lol I didn't know they had the whole doors aftermarket. At 291 each it's hard for me to spend the money on them but it maybe worth it

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I agree! Alot of the new cartridges are designed based on a certain criteria. Like the straight wall craze was started due to law changes in some states requiring straight wall cartridges. Are the ballisticly superior to some 100 year old cartridges nope I don't think so but they fill that void...

Good Initial Timing and Too much Total Timing Problem. Seeking guidance to minimize total timing. 1969 Swinger 340 4 Gear

You need to limit the mechanical advance in the distributor. There are multiple ways to do it. Fbo plate weld the slots. The newer aftermarket style distributors have a torque screw you loosen and adjust it that way.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

@Sublime one ok here goes so like I said before I'm basically reinventing the wheel here I know most professional gunsmiths will say I'm wasting my time and money but that's OK. It's something I've always wanted to do I found a "void" to fill. That's what wildcatting is all about. So it's going...

Yea I agree with you and I'm right there with you. I can't afford all the big. Name brad stuff. That was a huge screw up that I don't understand how it happened in the first place. Why even machine someone else's brand on your part? Crazy part is the cheap knockoff that speedmaster was selling...

    1973 duster temp sensor question

What sensor are you using? i ran into the same issue with mine and the sensor ( sending unit ) would not work with my factory gauge i ended up installing a aftermarket bosch sensor and gauge. it works fine now. If your gauge moves with the wiring grounded it has to be in the sender. try and find...

Minivans are the ideal vehicle, except when they are not

I had a 99 plymouth voyager i loved that thing used it just like a truck. The seats would come out and had the whole back open. It was pretty cool. i hauled plywood, firewood, deer, square bales you name it in it. Then put the seats back in it and haul the kids around!

Shocks: looking for Blistein quality at KYB price.

Im running monroe on my car and they seem just fine to me. Its not a road course car and it doesnt handle like a corvette. But they do what shocks are supposed to do. And they are 16 bucks. Maybe I just dont know what im missing because its what ive always used but they work and there not 600 bucks.
