Awesome A-body air dam for under $30!

I think Buford19 should make some for sale for 67-69 cudas. That looks awesome. I’d buy one! I’m sure other members would too! The one from 69 Camaro doesn’t look bad either.

Subframe connectors for a driver/cruiser, necessary to weld to floor?

I’m not a welder or fabricator and I did my own 1 1/2 X 3 or was it 2 1/2 ; the width of rear frame. It turned out pretty good. Look at how I extended the square tube bottom on the front and back and welded that in for extra strength. I’m sure there is a lot better ones here from other members...

I can pull on the coupler and it just touches the input shaft I think that’s as far as it goes.

    Steering shaft diameter

Dana67Dart have you done the swap yet? Wanted to se if you could measure the p/s shaft. I bought a p/s floor shift column from a member, I rebuilt it and just tried putting it the car (68 barracuda) and it’s 1 to 1 1/2 to short. From what I’m understanding the shaft is probably collapsed a bit...

    Steering column help

Nope, shaft has to be collapsed was able to punch the coupler in about 1 1/8 in and pull back out to where the coupler just touches the box shaft.

    Steering column help

I pulled on the coupler as much as I could by hand. I may want to tap on it a touch to see, because I do remember the shaft had the little plastic pins in it — unless it collapsed a bit when I was putting it together and had it upright and the coupler on the floor and fighting with the collar up...

    Steering column help

So I need help again. I bought a p/s floor shift column from a member for my 68 barracuda. I rebuilt it and now putting the car together and the column seems to short. My car came with column shift p/s one. Am I doing something wrong or just missing something? Here is some pics. Thanks!

I made on of these with a round hole. So the round boot fit nice and snug. Ask as many questions as you want. If it wasn’t for this site all all the people I would have never been able to build my car. And I’m still learning and making mistakes. LOL
