Yes I have the service manual and it shows replacing the window with the trim panel removed. There are 2 holes to access the bolts easily with it rolled about 3/4 up. With rolled all the way down, I can access the forward bolt easily, but not the rear one. Can get a boxed offset wrench on it...

I thought the same thing. I did find in the service manual procedure to replace it, but requires removing the "garnish molding per the service manual and what I call the interior metal trim. Have to figure out the sequence for removing it with damaging it.
