I currently have this model. It’s awesome. It’s rechargeable too. Some say the rechargeable battery is so-so but I’ve had no issues. Can use AAA too.

I just mounted this same HF 6” buffer. It’s pretty weak and bogs easily. I should have gotten the higher HP one. Throw away the pads that come with it. It throws a lot of material right out of the box and isn’t sewn well. I ordered new Elkay ones from Amazon.
3/4” Rapidair. Easy peezy. Used my copper manifold from my old shop. Super clean, cool, dry air to all my drops. Proof was in the paint pudding. Very nice system. Finished install in a day easily.
Great tool. Used it to test my new gauges, lights, solenoid on the starter, and starter relay and the new headlight relays from Crackedback. Great tool to have. Especially sending power to what you’re testing. Will be nice when I re-wire my trailer.
I feel like the biggest attraction people have towards this tool is it’s convenience. It’s purchase has near zero to do with whether or not you have knowledge of basic circuits. Most people already have a basic understanding otherwise why would they be interested in this tool in the first place...
Just watched about an hour of videos. Hope the cd that comes with it shows more in-depth capabilities. Overall I’m gonna like this tool from what I watched.
just ordered one based off of rave review on FABO and amazon reviews. Should be a great tool. I will especially find it useful for our sprinter van RV.
Any useful tips?
Being an avid rock climber, a good headlamp is critical. I keep cheaper extras in all my cars. The best 3 brands out there are listed here. They may be expensive but they perform the better than the Shitty ones you see sold at Costco. They can be bought on amazon or head to you local REI or...
4 post for storage. Easy decision in my book.
I have a rolling jack lift and a bottle jack tray. Has been very easy to do any work I’ve wanted to do. Will be installing my engine from the bottom as well. I’ve got plenty clearance between the rails.
Bend pak now makes a more narrow lift. For those hobbyist with really tight garage spaces.
I wanted to get a Greg smith lift but the runways weren’t wide enough for me to drop a kframe with motor.
Oh yeah I sprung for the rolling jack and also got the adjustable bottle jack tray. Can get all 4 wheels off the lift no prob.
It’s a little tight but 11ft ceilings help. I have the casters so I can move it outside too.
I got the idea from another site when researching lifts. They ran threads into the cross beam. I was thinking I would put in a couple of 3/8 drop in concrete anchor sleeves flushed to the floor but this came about serendipitously.
I do have a winch. There is a tab on the cross beam that I use to hold down my worm drive winch. I lower the lift onto the winch to hold it in place then use an electric drill to run the winch. Works amazing.
