    I set the lash a .020” cold and after a break in cycle the lash was .022”-.024” hot. R3 block with W9 heads. this is a roller cam but i do the same with SFT.

    PTC converters switches hands

    Lenny from Ultimate Converter built mine 400 rpm over peak torque. car liked it, went from 11.10 to 10.85. gained 4 mph and launched way harder, 1.60 to 1.55. this happens so often. the converter is over looked and then wonder why the car is such a dog.

    my car is a bracket car with a loose converter. The rpm window is narrow, I leave at 5800 and shift at 7000. I have no dyno to try just track time. Only have 1 distributor also.

    what engines did you dyno test this theory? stock, mild, all out race engines? i do have a lot of converter and my car is light.

    How many of you grease your own trailer axles?

    i grease the trailer 4 times a year. if you keep on top of it, it's only 1 or 2 pumps and done.

    First fire-up of the duster this year.

    sounds good. hopefully in a week or so i can fire up my junk. if everything goes smoothly, May 11 is a test and tune that i want to attend. all i have to do is put intake back on.

    I did try 2 different converters to see if it would fix the lousy 60’. First was a TCS and the second was from Ultimate Converter Concepts.

    I’m glad they work for you but they didn’t work on my car. 2 years of adjusting and several phones calls to Calvert himself, I gave up. Wasted a lot of time and $ with cal tracs and I will never use them again.

    First time in the shop working on back to back days in probably over 2 months

    i just bought a '772' mopar intake. not sure if i'll use it yet as i have a CFE tunnel ram. i would really like to start porting but scared to screw it up. it's an art form for sure.
