I just bought a LA roller cam for my swap, and a harmonic balancer with no pulleys for a mag.
Used everything else LA, timing cover, fuel pump eccentric, water pump, oil pan, pulleys, and all the LA accessories, like alternator, and ps pump.
Just last weekend I bought the 8 lug axles out of a 90 dodge truck with a 360, auto.
Power-train was intact, he used a couple body parts off it.
I could have bough the whole truck for $600, but he did not have a title.
A title is required to junk the truck in WV, so I just grabbed the axles and...
Scrap metal weight, that is were the money is. Sell a good part, get the same weight back.
Anything sold is 100% profit, and you still have your scrap weight.
If you pull one from a wrecked vehicle, check for obvious damage caused by the collision.

I know I have an annoying leak around the bottom radiator hose on my duster.
I broke the engine in on my engine start stand, left it on their for 3 years before putting it in my Duster. No leaks.
The only thing I did was was remove the water pump, drop it in the Duster, install new gasket and...
The magnum I ended up using was only $200 when I bought it, but it came with the car pan and pickup. I bought it as a core.
Tore it down, the cylinders looked excellent, the heads as usual each one was cracked, but the crank and bearings were rough.
It needed turned, it came out of a 250 van...
What is the clutch size on the 1986?
You will want to use one for the trans you are bolting the motor to.
Most likely it is a 143 tooth flywheel with a 11” 23 spline clutch.
