Will a b/e-fuel tank fit with a modified a-body pan?

Consider one from an '88ish Jeep Cherokee. 20 gallons, driver's side fill. In-tank electric fuel pump, 70-90 psi (depending on manufacturer), 50ish gph, 3/8 line with a return fitting. The sender's ohm readings are similar to stock Mopar, but get this, they are reversed. So your gauge will read...

    [WANTED] 67 recall steering wheel

I've heard at least 2 different stories- The spokes were too fragile and would shear in an impact, impaling the driver... And The gap in the spokes was too wide and easily captured your fingers when turning the wheel. Not sure I believe either one, though.

    la 360 flex plate

The bolt pattern is the same, but the balance weight is different. Plus, the LA360 uses the standard "daisy" shaped flex plate, the 5.9 uses a full diameter flex plate with a tone ring around the perimeter for the crank sensor. The very early 5.9 plates were non weighted and used a weighted...

And just to be clear, despite what the ad says those are not shields, they are the seals that attach to the steel type of shield.

Assuming you have the large bolt circle (5x4.5) and not the small bolt circle (5x4). Also assuming that you're replacing a 7.25 rear. 8.75 will be small bolt circle unless it has aftermarket axles, was installed in A bodies late '65-'72. ($$) Bolts in with the right shock plates and u bolts...

    Center console question

Gunslinger (now owned by Brewer's) used to offer an adapter to use the Pistol Grip in an A body console, but hasn't been available in a while. Last I heard, Brewer's was considering a fresh run if there was enough interest? Otherwise, it really wouldn't be too hard to fab one yourself.

RockAuto. Sadly, they're almost out. But you should be able to take the numbers to OReilley or NAPA or Advance Auto or wherever and have them order them in for you. They also have cut to fit refills.

Yes, that's what it looks like from here.

will 1965 barracuda seat tracks fit 1965 valiant buckets?

The tan ones definitely aren't right. The red one is hard to tell, looks like they may have had some repairs done? Maybe it's just the angle... Don't have any early A buckets at this time to compare them to, but here's a couple pics I pulled up to show what they should look like.

will 1965 barracuda seat tracks fit 1965 valiant buckets?

The tracks should be identical. That is, as long as they are bucket seat tracks and not bench seat tracks.

Exhaust Manifold options for a 5.9 magnum and 64 dart

340 manifolds aren't exactly a clean fit in the early A body either, although they take less work than the Magnum manifolds. And then there's the port mismatch/sealing issues and outlet to head interference to deal with. And the cost. Magnum Heads On 340 Easiest (and since you're admittedly...

    Dual ballast resistor

The initial Mopar ECUs were 5 pin units and used a dual ballast resistor. One side of the resistor feeds the coil, the other side feeds the ECU. On later systems, the 5th pin on the ECU was eliminated and a single ballast was used- the function of the dual ballast/5th pin was moved internally...

    Fuel gauge reading incorrectly

Do yourself a favor and put a new float on the old sending unit and reinstall it. Your other option is to install a MeterMatch unit and hope you can get it calibrated decently. Of course, you could order one from Australia, as they have the only manufacturer I've heard of with an accurate...

    5.9 magnum and the ax15

Bellhousing will fit, may have to do a little work flattening the pinch weld; depends what he's putting it in. He never did say. 5.9 magnum and the ax15

Heck, I've pulled trannies with 11" clutches out of early '60s trucks with Polys, so sometime before then. My '66 Sweptline 318 Poly has an 11 inch clutch, as did my '78 D200/360. The '89 NV4500 I've got uses an 11" (going behind a Gen3 using an eight-bolt 11" 4.7 flywheel).

    5.9 magnum and the ax15

Oh, they fit just fine. The 143t (11") flywheel was used on most all manual small block trucks- from A motors to LAs to Magnums. Only a few V6 Dakotas with the NV2500 used variations on the 10/10.5 flywheel.

    5.9 magnum and the ax15

The type of machining that needs to be done (you do NOT cut the flexplate) is more elaborate than rebalancing the flywheel to 5.9 spec, which there are diagrams for that are easy to follow. I would NOT do the sandwich method unless as a last resort, since it moves the flywheel deeper into the...
