    NHL 23-24

I was a Rangers fan as a kid. But when they traded Brad Park and Jean Ratelle for that SOB Phil Esposito I was done with NY. Our minor league club was affiliated with Hartford, so I went to the Whalers. They pulled out so I went to the Senators for my family's connection to the team. I'd like...

    67 DART SPEAKER REPLACEMENT

Here's a few pictures that might help. Unrestored speaker bracket. Note the insulating foam. That side goes against the dash to prevent speaker rattles. Not my picture, but I had it saved. This is my bracket after stripping, painting, and adding new insulating foam. The foam is just home...

    The Mack truck

Brockway has a devoted but small following. I know they have, or at least had pre-covid, an annual convention every summer in Cortland. Mack had bought out Brockway several years before they shut them down. So there was probably a great deal of consolidation of design resources. I'm pretty...

    The Mack truck

I grew up near the plant where Brockway trucks were manufactured. Fifty years ago, they were all over upstate New York. Most local municipalities used them. There's a farm near where I live now that has at least thirty. Most are worked regularly, but some are restored for show. I had a...

Did the 1979 Lil Red Express come with an air pump?

In 1978 they were able to get away without catalytic converters due to the gross vehicle weight rating put it in the category of a work truck. The exemption for the weight rating was adjusted upwards for '79, so they had cats that year. I don't know about air pumps, but less likely on a '79...

    ride height question

I think it looks really good. If you want it lower, you could cut the sway bar links to get more clearance. And like SIX225 said above, when using rubber control arm bushings only torque control arm bolts after setting final ride height.

    Mopar Action magazine

I asked one of the principals at Mopar Action if they were working on a comeback in digital or print. This was his reply: "MA is 100% dead. It was doing just fine but the parent corporation got involved with sports illustrated, which took down the whole house of cards." Mopar Action was...

    [WANTED] Stabilizer bar bracket

Correct. The brackets and bushings weren't serviced separately. If you needed to replace the bushings, you had to order the entire anti-sway bar. :realcrazy: Polyurethane replacement bushings are available. I haven't seen rubber, but they could be out there. I burned the rubber ones out...

    67 DART SPEAKER REPLACEMENT

If it's still original, the speaker is screwed to a bracket. The bracket is held up on each end by a square shanked carriage bolt that points downward, and whose head is hidden under the defogger outlet vents. As said in post 2, reach up and remove the nuts however you can, and the speaker and...
