    Wheel lug hack.

wish I could "agree" and "like" this one. A few months ago I had my lower bicep strain (must of been all that working n out and gettin "swoll") and that certainly makes you work on technique to get things done. (yes, that IS what she said)

Getting fed up of high-perf , being happy with less

Im housing a 68 firebird for a friend for a couple years while he goes abroad. 4 speed 400 and a little ratty. I get to work the bugs out while driving it. easy stuff. overheating or rattles. The barracuda is an 6 year project and who knows how that will drive, lord knows I haven't driven it...

    Wheel lug hack.

2nd TPLO surgery. First was on the right last December, now the left. I have never had these things happen in 34 yrs of dogs. He is quite the champ and due to me learning how to train better and better, he has turned out to be quite the lad. I am only a week into the healing. I like GSD's, the...

    Wheel lug hack.

I hate trying to get the wheel to line up to the lugs. The biggest offender is these thick azz mags and short azz wheel lugs. Ive tried putting the trouble light on the ground behind the wheel to shed some light on the subject and that works pretty good. My latest is putting white paint pen...

    UTG vs DDG

What ever happened to @Princess Valiant 's stab at you tube stardom. I thought she did a great job and knew more stuff than i did. I imagine it does take quite a bit of time and consistency to put out good content. I have no idea. Let's see @318willrun 's van and princess valiant do an...

[FOR SALE] 1967 1968 1969 Barracuda fastback interior panels

Ill pass on these @MidnightSwinger. makes more sense since you are so close. They would be backups for me if I screwed up my cuts post mini tub.

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

I moved the studs Ill place and shim today sometime. I need to finish up some wiring under dash first.

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

I am going to try the most forward holes on the tracks and put a spacer under the front two studs to 'lean back' a smidge as @Cuda Al suggested earlier. If I go down the road of fabrication, you can get some inexpensive sliders and mount them on whatever type of riser you choose. I hesitate to...

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

Well im here to say that pressing out those mounting studs might require some heat. Or i cut em off and get another to use the hole i want. I thought these tracks were tough to find, i figured a pure hearted mopar head would have called the negotiation team by now with a few...

    1967 barracuda bucket seat adjust

Hellooooooooo FABO. I did try to use search function...... just so ya know. Aformentioned 67 fastback buckets. Without carpet in car and seat placed for first time...... Im 6'2" and my head is too close to roof. If i move mounting studs forward, effectively moving seat backwards, i might...

Am I crazy or is this project Duster way overpriced?

I paid 7K for a 72 slant duster in '21....ish. 66 K on the clock. Sunbaked but the dash pad wasn't affected, just the seats. No rattles. Mileage might be actual. I was practicing detachment at one point (mind the word "practicing" here) and put it up for an outrageous price. I figured...

Stolen A-Bodies From CA High Desert

When i store all 10 of my second gen Barracudas in a barn, i put a camera on em. And a bunch of insurance. It's hard not to think such a big job has insider information. A semi car hauler can do 7-8. That means definitely two trips or two haulers. Two haulers means more lips to keep shut...

Do you have a lifter that was properly rotating marks? Learning here at this point.

    Lifter failure

So why did that fail? Made in USA. (Should be good right?) Metallurgy? Is the cam metal so different that it was like 80# sandpaper?
  28. clementine

    Lifter failure

generally we check the oil every time the car leaves the garage. Generally. Would a magnetic tipped dipstick help early on when the lifters are failing? Early enough that you might not have to pull motor? I know it won't help the mid shaft bronze gear eating itself. Just the tip now.

Steve magnante's 1962 dodge dart police car

It looks the same as the one in post #26,28 and 29. Post #10 was the old one. Post #19 is the change. #26 is the new and current one that you re posted. Good bump. but not new. Just being clear. Don't want it to sound like Steve is putting up new GFM all the time. make sense?
