Had some company today. Gotta love a Mopar gathering on a sunny day.

On my b body Mopar the sway bar hangs below the tab. But the weird thing with this bar is that it is shaped for this position. If it was down, the cross over would be leaning towards the k-member? It is perfectly straight where it sits.

I had this sway bar on the shelf that I got years back. It came off of a 68 Barracuda. It had what I think are home made attachments because he didn’t have tabs. It was painted so it may have been some form of aftermarket add on. Well, I don’t have tabs! So I’ll run this and see how it feels...

It does not have perfect paint. It’s pretty good, but it had a bunch of amateur swirls in it from somebody in the past. The hood was the worst. I took it to my buddy who owns a detail shop and this is what a clay bar and 3 polishes provided. It has silver, gold and green metal, almost micro flake.

14X7 with 3 1/2” backspace and 15X8 1/2 with 5” backspace. The 14’s fit the discs thank goodness. But the backs will not work. But! I have a 68 Barracuda. They will work there for sure. I also have StuBBle. He has biiiiiiig hips. 15X7 with 4 1/2” backspace would be perfect back here.

That looks very nice! Ya the 73 Duster has a 15/16 too. I think that’s what I put in Rex the Scamp. That and 7/8 wheel cylinders in the back is a good combo. Brad was saying the other day how good it stopped! I’m surprised he used brakes. I’ll do the rear cylinders when I do the 8 3/4. But...

Thanks Tom. You know I am happy! As for the other green, the color does not make it run like a scalded dog! But I'm fairly certain yours will the way it sounds!

I had to move stuff around the shop today. The Coronet got about a quarter inch of dust rinsed off of it! I thought this was a pretty cool shot.

LOL, that would be something to see! With Rob's primer grey 68 it will be "One of these things doesn't belong here....."

Thanks Randy. I am super happy with it and definitely the not working on it part is huge! It's like 4mulas said about patch the floor and drive it. That is such a frickin' bonus. I agree with you and I'm leaning that way on the brakes too. It really is large space taker. I think I'll just go...

This will be the first big change, but not for a bit. It will cease motion with manual drums for a while. I’m not committed to the booster, but discs will be on there.

Done deal! Legit for cruising. The girl at the registry even grabbed the 68 plate out of the pile! Gotta love Hagerty too. Great pricing on insurance.

LOL, I checked them yesterday by hitting the throttle hard on my maiden test drive. Just a 318.........for now. ;)

Paint imperfections, couple little scratches, a few small rock chips and Uncanny is a prefect driver!

Uncanny has a birth certificate! Not a lot of luxury’s. He was born into a low income family. He never even got to listen to music while he played. But they were proud of their new baby and gave him all the love he deserved.

Thanks all. I can't believe how "green" has grown on me! It just looks good. As for the heads, the covers were glued on when they put the engine together! So, I'll wait until the inspection is done, drive it a bit and then maybe yank the covers. For now, I'll be wondering.

I just used this “wafer board” I had kicking around. It’s only 1/8” thick. If I was to go buy some I would probably go thicker. But it feels pretty good.

I had to make a new tire well cover. Fortunately I have a few old ones kicking around for a template. I’m very tempted to pull a valve cover to see what the heads are. With the 340 intake and headers and sure grip, it just kinda make me wonder what is inside.

I am so impressed by how clean this thing is. I am taking it for inspection this coming Tuesday. Should be registered and insured in my name by Wednesday.

A lot of cars I have had, I go get a classic plate on so they are registered in my name. The only way this works is if it is still in the system. So this car being alive in Manitoba probably keeps its whole life active. This just got traded with the RT. It has a pink card currently registered...

I got a tidbit of history today on the car. I went registries to get the out of province request, and the young lady told me the car was registered in BC until around 86 when it went to Manitoba. She could not give me the data but shared that with me. Gotta love it when car girls work in places...

You fellas are correct. It is frickin solid. Steve it was a 273 originally. But I have a 340 here and know of a 68 340 nearby. I’m going to wait for a bit and see how this 318 is. Maybe it will be just fine for a while.

Slid in from underneath. Certainly not my prettiest welds ever! Because I had a big wind blowing my shielding gas away on me. Had to move the smoke out though I figured. Now the welds look better!
