Any seen one of these before, or know if it was factory?

My 69 Dart was bought, in 87' with a Hurst Tee handle. That was the first thing to go, I went with the stock ball. I have small handle, so the ball works better than the pistol grip for me.

White Leather or Vinyl Issue & Sought-after Suggestions

Doesn't appear they offer a white, but the grey's look possible. Read an article about it and appears like/better than leather. I'll look into it ... many thx!

Stop in for a cup of coffee

The wind chimes are just startin' to jingle outside. Weather geeks guess 45-50 mph gusts in nearby areas today. That's Spring weather, not June Gloom! :wtf:

White Leather or Vinyl Issue & Sought-after Suggestions

I'm betting those would work great, BUT ... they are period matching/correct covers and we are aiming for the "restored" outcome with more modern material/look, which appears to be the issue in material sourcing. We are adding bolsters too for the same reason you mentioned.

    408 Magnum stroker HEAD HELP!

If this helps ~ I built a 408 on a LA 360 with Eddy Magnum closed chamber heads (drilled for the LA pattern) with LS rockers (1.6 ratio) then port matched by Hughes to an AirGap. Good combo and easy.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

The point I need to make is that the reason Frieburger was upset with it is that people buying them off Amazon are wearing the cheap ones out stupid fast, or shrinking them on the first washing etc and trying to turn them into HIS website for exchange or return. That’s where the issue lies. See...

    408 Magnum stroker HEAD HELP!

Numbers looked closer to Speedmaster heads to me. Especially on the 4.250 bore test size they used. Stub pipe jumped up the exhaust numbers too.

[FOR SALE] Dealin' Dan's Deal o' the Day (new LED headlamps)

Got one new pair of American-made 7-inch round LED headlamps, Truck-Lite 37270C. Not my favourite 7" headlamp in the whole wide world, but completely credible, much better than sealed beams, DOT-certified, and very well built. They draw very little current (no relay harness needed; drop in, plug...

Shocks: looking for Blistein quality at KYB price.

Where did you get your Monroes? I'm pulling the KYB's off the 73 Dart and want something decent without spending the coin as I do on the Barracudas.

    Spark Plug Advice Needed

I agree, the plugs will tell you the health of your engine. Last year I changed my plugs (N-9Y) on my 69 340, manual, at around 70,000 miles and they were clean and tan, just a little wider jap. I do spend around one hour setting the dwell on it's dual point distributor.

Best Carter 4 Barrel Carburetor for a stock 273?

If you are keeping the "2-barrel, stock cam", a 500 cfm carb will give good response and better mileage. If you think you may need to change carb jets, then get one with easily replaced jets. If it is an automatic, you probably won't use the secondaries very often. Are you going to give it an...

Help with '67 vs '68 Seat Details

The stainless trim is easy to remove and refinish . The seat backs are metal with a vinyl covering which can also be recovered . You will probably see dents in the seat backs from years of use but just repair as any metal refinishing. Seat tracks from 68 can be made to fit the 67 seats. That...
