That sounds good...can you adjust the speed with just the trigger, or a little separate wheel to roll?

    904 kickdown Q

You would probably be better off with a manual valve body. No worries and less weight. Well....you could pour sand in the left rocker panel if you have to keep the weight, lol.

    73 duster front end swap

I may be wrong, but I think you need to change the whole front clip. If you wanted to add a Sharks Tooth grill, you might get by with using your fenders and getting an earlier hood, bumper & brackets and probably the hood latch support and lower metal piece between the grill and bumper...

    Stripping methods?

If the soda blasting or Dustless blasting doesn't remove old filler, you can heat the filler with a propane torch and pop it right out with a putty knife. You aren't going to hurt anything if there's an old dent under that filler....lol. If those trunk gutter pieces aren't available from AMD...

Well.....it did give me a "Wait? What?" moment and made me get off my butt and go out and see if mine will work! And it does.....one hernia later! I forgot how heavy a /6 head is! :BangHead:

    My Dart Swinger Project!

Is it a variable speed so you can run the speed up and down when you need to? I've had to do the "Sand and wait" thing with my air DA's for years. I've finally got a new compressor that's a 2 stage, 5 horse, 60 gallon tank so it will keep up while painting. I'd just as soon use an electric DA...

Will the valve cover he was selling not physically bolt onto the slant six head in your car? I don't know a lot about them, but I would think an NOS chrome Direct Connection valve cover would bolt onto any slant 6 of the 70-ish era.

    It’s an easy resto…..

My 95 Craftsman riding mower is the same color as that Dart, and it yard drives too! It isn't rusty and it mows.......even though my yard is steep and I ride it like a dirt bike because I HATE weedeating. My poor ol 74 Swinger that I junked out cause it was rusty looked better than that Dart...

    Drip Rail Sealant?

In the past, I have used 3M Fast n Firm autobody seam sealer. Stuff dried harder than Chinese arithmetic! It worked ok, but the few cars I've used it on are long gone...so I have no idea how the longevity of it is. When I get to that point with my Barracuda I will look for a newer product if...

    Thinking about 2 changes

Previous owner put an FMJ 8.25 in my 65 Barracuda. Tag says 3.55, but I'll believe that when I pull it out to swap the 8 3/4 in. The amount of cobbelry that they did to this poor car is just :BangHead: . They didn't move the perches, hacked in the shock mounts from the FMJ car. When I pull it...

He's a couple hours away from me, out in the sticks in Iva, SC. My machinist is 81, and if he retires I will be seriously considering Mr. Powell. His accent doesn't bother me.....it ain't a lot different than mine!

[FOR SALE] 904 Slant 6 Transmission

There's 2 ways to tell if it is a lockup. You can look up the P number stamped on the side of the pan rail, drivers side of the pan rail, right below the shift mechanism. You can also pull the converter out of it and see if the input shaft has a tip that is much smaller than the rest of the...

    First Drag strip visit

Greer Dragway in Greer, SC in 1975. Went with my best friend who had a 70 Duster 340. Greer was still running 1/4 mile then, but had to back it down to 1/8 mile a few years later because of lack of room for shut down after a quarter mile pass. I ran pretty regular between 89 and 91. Ran my 74...

Thanks for the great answer! I only have the 2 Challengers I have because I'm old and bought them back when they were just cars. My 70 A66 Challenger, I've owned since 79 and the 71, I've owned since 89. I'll dig out a spare cluster and look to see how the 5v reducer works on those. I may hit...

    1980s dodge truck doors

Maybe check with @moparmarks and see if he might have one. He had 47 doors listed a while back, and I think a lot of them were truck doors. He might even have some beat up doors he would cut inner panels from and sell you to weld in.

1966 Valiant Sedan V8 Swap (Victoria)

Mike, put a big copper washer between the head of the bolt and where it goes thru the 90 degree adapter. Then the thick cork washer between the adapter and block, the little one that goes over the bolt. Then dob both sides of the big round ring gasket with Ultra Black RTV. Throw that fiber...
