    Sorry to hear that Del. I’ve did a couple years ago on the back and I even removed 1or 2 from other cars. I done a few windshields too. Not really very hard at all. Work slowly and carefully. U can do it Del. A helper will come in handy if u can find one. Kim

    I hated that Chevy .447 lift cam. Everybody and their dog wanted it shoved in their 8-1 compression engine. It was such a dog that I had a stack of about 10 or so used cams on the shelf. Some guys put up with it cause they sounded nasty. Kim

    I must be missing something. U say the motor wants the base timing at 42*. So what do u have when the mechanical comes in, then when the va comes in? My guess is around 70-80*. Get yourself a good timing light. And maybe someone that knows how to use it. Are u timing on number one for sure...

    318 Intake Gaskets Question

    I was always told to have the raised part up so that it will crush down when u tighten it. But head gaskets blow the up or down theory all to hell. They only make 1 gasket so 1 goes up and the other goes down. Kim
