    Anybody remember Craig Powerplay?

No problem. I’m just loving hoe this whole scenario played out. My wife said, “and you hate algorithms”. Smartass.

Example: For sale: BBJ UCA's. Yup, that's right. Big ball joint upper control arms. Nice ones!. Blasted, painted, new bushings and all. You may want to ask me what body they fit.

Lol. The internet! Joined because of a key word in a thread! That is two now just in this thread in this forum. Wonder how many times this happens. I'll dig into the box tomorrow and see if it has paper in it.

Yes I am very happy with the quality of his work. These are very well built. They have the extra 5 deg of caster but non adjustable. I think he was just trying to compete against big money and advertising. Probably just didn’t make enough sense to continue. Blasted and shiny blacked! Tomorrow...

Who's running the same size tires front and rear

lol. As a matter of fact, it does use air and shackles. 295/50/15 and 225/60/14. It’s my 30 year gone recovered Nova. You just made me realize it is the only car I haven’t named. Kotter it is. Welcome back! Sorry, it’s getting dark out!

Who's running the same size tires front and rear

It’s simple. “I don’t like it so you should just make yours the same as mine.” Staggered rocks. I still have a car with rubber hanging 2” outside the wheel wells!

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

Ma was ok with adding air shocks. Must have been thought of long before some people decided it wasn’t.

Much more better. I think they are 14x7 with 3” backspace. The driver rear is pretty close but should be fine. 245/60/14 on the back and 235/60/14 up front.

Thank you Mike. I am very happy it’s rolling along like it is! Easy stuff is so pleasurable. The headlight bezels had been swapped at some point. So the design was a little off. I took some flat black and a small brush to it now it looks way better.

On my b body Mopar the sway bar hangs below the tab. But the weird thing with this bar is that it is shaped for this position. If it was down, the cross over would be leaning towards the k-member? It is perfectly straight where it sits.

I had this sway bar on the shelf that I got years back. It came off of a 68 Barracuda. It had what I think are home made attachments because he didn’t have tabs. It was painted so it may have been some form of aftermarket add on. Well, I don’t have tabs! So I’ll run this and see how it feels...

How much would you pay for this 340?

I have not seen a $500 340 block for a loooong time. Regardless of what everybody thinks the external look is worth, a 340 core is still expensive. Just go look in the mechanical parts for sale. Do I have dollar value? Not without seeing inside, but I bet it ain't $500 for the block and J heads.

‘68 Dart, One tail light not working.

I have not looked into the plug, but in 68 the park lights still went off when you turned the headlights on. If you want both you can run a jumper wire on the switch to make them stay on.

It does not have perfect paint. It’s pretty good, but it had a bunch of amateur swirls in it from somebody in the past. The hood was the worst. I took it to my buddy who owns a detail shop and this is what a clay bar and 3 polishes provided. It has silver, gold and green metal, almost micro flake.

14X7 with 3 1/2” backspace and 15X8 1/2 with 5” backspace. The 14’s fit the discs thank goodness. But the backs will not work. But! I have a 68 Barracuda. They will work there for sure. I also have StuBBle. He has biiiiiiig hips. 15X7 with 4 1/2” backspace would be perfect back here.

That looks very nice! Ya the 73 Duster has a 15/16 too. I think that’s what I put in Rex the Scamp. That and 7/8 wheel cylinders in the back is a good combo. Brad was saying the other day how good it stopped! I’m surprised he used brakes. I’ll do the rear cylinders when I do the 8 3/4. But...

Stolen A-Bodies From CA High Desert

The easiest, but bravest, crime to commit is in broad daylight. If people see something like this happening, there is very little chance it would be questioned, unless they are or know the owner. It would appear to be a legitimate process. "Nobody would be that brave" is the common assumption.
