Here is what I am talking about with being welded closer to the edge

it appears that champion could have welded the side brackets closer to the edge of the radiator and that would gain at least another 1/2 in, might be something I need to have done.

well I just measured and there is right at 1/2 in of clearance and I used the shortened clutch, I was hoping to get 3/4 in but this where I ended up. I am using the champion 3 row radiator. there is about 3/4 in between the fins and the radiator.

that was what I was seeing on the aftermarket ones like from mancini racing just did realize that it was that noticeable

Ok don't laugh too hard but I got my fan and radiator installed and the fan is not centered with the center of the radiator, is this correct. I did some measuring and the edge of fan blade is about 3 in from the outer edge of the radiator on the driver's side and about 1 3/4 on the passenger...

sorry I needed to be more specific, these are the pivots for the z bar. I will try to get some pictures today

ok guys what is the trick to getting the rubber dust seals over the pivot balls. I tried soaking them in hot water to try and soften them up no help. I tried using a socket that fit over the pivot ball but that didn't work either.

This is the connection that powered everything up. There was a what I will call a splitter that connected into the fusable link with a heavy blue wire coming out of it not sure if it needs to be connected. Hopefully you can see what I am talking about in the pictures

These are the extra connectors only 3 instead of 4.

This was purchased thru megaparts and the listing said it was for a 71 dart 4 speed. I did call and ask if it would work for a 72 but they couldn't give a definite answer.

That looks like the clutch fan that I found online, I believe that it's made by hayden and about $70. This would give me the 3/4 in that I need

you are exactly right, I did look at that and the core was welded in a good 1/2 inch from the end of the side brackets. Apparently summit sells a shorter fan clutch 2.7 inches tall that is supposed to help with this issue.

On the radiator support to k frame brace does it go on top of the support and k frame as pictured or the underside.The body shop put it on the top side. When I put the radiator in it was resting on the brace.

Have these, here are the part numbers that are the same on both. 3006015 3082026 One has an "A" and the other one has 15A

Are you kidding me, do you happen to have a picture of the correct mount, I was told by the member that sold them to me they were a body 340 mounts
