    The thrill is gone?

Thank you. I'm "only" 59, but already I'm hearing about Classmates and childhood friends who have passed away. I don't want to waste a minute of my Life (one of my biggest fears), but it's getting harder and harder to find the "gumption", the Passion, and even the ability (I have two bad knees)...

[WANTED] WTB A833OD A/F Body Bellhousing

Check with Brewers or Passon. Brewers would be my first choice, due to ease of communication. but I got one from Passon about 2 years ago. It was a refurb unit, no issues.

Is rebuilding out of the question? These are very simple. The rebuild kits are also reasonable..

    The thrill is gone?

I think in the end its just a car or it gets to that point as we get older priorities change etc. You know to the person who doesn't have his or her car yet the excitement is there for it . After you've had the car 30 years its different... it doesn't mean you aren't into it but its...

    Vibration 45-50

So just got back from a drive/ Car has not been started until now. When cold there is no vibration, after engine reaches op temp and after shifting up and down a number of times, the vibration starts to show itself. I think it's in the 833. As soon as I put in N, vibration gone. Not sure what...

    The thrill is gone?

Thanks, Randy. I saw your post regarding the work you've been putting-in on the wheels, and while I'm sorry I didn't respond, they really do look good! Funny you should mention "me time", as that's what my wife keeps bringing-up. As in, "When do you (meaning me) get some "me time"?" I guess...

    72 duster resto

Pulled the axles out of the 8.8 today to get started assembling the mounting brackets for the calipers but got sent on an internet hunt for the right bolt/nut combo to attach things. I dont have the dust shields, but not too worried about those. There is a strong consideration of figuring out a...

Maximum Performance N/A 383 build. Input wanted from engine gurus.

Get in touch with Jones Cams in Denver N.C. 704-489-2449, he will grind you the cam that you need. You will not be disappointed, Dave @ Woodruff Carbs is building a similar motor but he sprung for some lighter pistons. I will never by a cam off the shelf @ Summit ever again ! Good luck

Maximum Performance N/A 383 build. Input wanted from engine gurus.

Thanks for the input y'all. Looks like I am going to roll with what I have for now and spec a cam accordingly. I will definitely look into building a big low deck stroker in the future, but since I already have an assembled short block and heads, I'm going to reevaluate my goals and build...

You're a man of many talents Fred. A toasty one and quite humid but a nice breeze which helped when sitting on the deck under the gazebo. My daughter's oldest made me this T shirt. Wonder if he's trying to tell me something

A sincere "Thank you" for your response! Sounds to me like I'm where you were at somewhere in the past, and I may just do as you suggest ("...back away for awhile..."), as there are quite a few projects around the house that I really need to get done.
