    Filler tube replacement 65 Barracuda

...or the opposite - make the bend point the filler neck toward the back. Don't the wheel wells flare out and give you more room in that direction???

    Filler tube replacement 65 Barracuda

It is a vent INTO your gas tank. When your fuel pump pumps gas out of the tank it has to be replaced by air or either the tank would implode or the fuel would stop leaving the tank. I presume that your gas cap is not vented, correct? It would have a one way valve on the inside of the cap if it was.

    Swinging for Divorce…

Bad News - I went to buy new fluorescent tubes for my 8 foot shop lights this month and was informed that you can no longer legally buy them here or buy them on line and have them shipped here. I ended up buying a kit to install LEDs in the 8 foot fixtures. The "kit" was new bulbs and...

don't get too ready to hang all your lights on the ceiling. I put lights up on the side of my garage at the level of side windows in the car for better illumination inside the car, and even lower to give me light when working under the car

    1970 Swinger 340 resto

WOO HOO!!! Congratulations! I find it useful to make a "punch list" of things that need to be done. It keeps you on track and you get the satisfaction of crossing stuff off as you get to it. If you can just do a little bit on a regular basis, you'll make great progress.

Just as slow as before mods..

SOMEBODY BUY THIS CAR!!! IMHO - The OP shouldn't fix anything. Someone with the skills to make this a truly great car should make the OP a good offer and drop a really potent small block in it.

if you look up Torqueflite 904 pan gasket up on the Summit Racing web site they offer a pan gasket with a silicone bead around it. I tried one because of a persistant leak and it sealed right up - had to take the pan off again and reused the gasket and it sealed right up again! You use no...

Just as slow as before mods..

WOW My best advice to the OP is to find an excellent old school mechanical shop. Even if you have to pay to haul it to them on a flat bed, it's WAY better than casting around here with the depth of the mismatch in parts.. They can go through the car, make the best of what you have and then...

suggest that you get a thermostat gasket from Real Gaskets in Tennessee. I've tried other gaskets of theirs and was underwhelmed but that thermostat gasket is great. If you get one FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. I have one that I have used in a motor for 3 years and I needed to remove the housing...
