    Trailer Axles Lippert VS Dexter

Lippert frames are junk. My wife & I have a little tin condo (park model camper) set up permanently in an ocean front campground in Myrtle Beach. There's been more than one camper had a Lippert frame break while people were coming to the campground. They have had to get someone to come weld them...

Did a little pickin today !

Steve, he melts down aluminum, like old wheels and automatic transmission cases and pours them down ant nests (hills). Then very carefully digs out around it in a few days. Most people that do it use a water hose and shop vac when they get close, so they don't destroy the form. It's a form of...

    A Low Mileage '72 Duster

You were a VERY good conservator of that car Dave, and I hope those that follow you in the line of ownership will be as diligent as you were in taking care of it.

Stock vs hp Steet clutch discs

I'll add an AMEN to the stock rebuild with a shift kit. I 100% totally agree with @junkyardhero about buying from A&A Transmission instead of CRT. Rick Allison is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Another good place to buy transmission parts is Andrews Racing Transmissions He is a member...

    A Low Mileage '72 Duster

That Duster came from the local Plymouth dealership here in town. Glover Motors. I wen there more than once to buy 7 1/4 spider gears....lol. I'm surprised @dmoore sold it. Dave did a lot of preservation work on that car.

    On the pickin road again

I bought some fenders from @Princess Valiant several years ago. Cheapest way to get them from CO to NC was on the Greyhound. Greyhound carried them back and forth across the country....not kidding, 4 times! They were supposed to be dropped off in Johnson City, TN on the first pass, but for some...

    Vin info

Scroll down to the 1972 model year in the link below, and see what you come up with. The VIN will be on the dash tag, drivers side door sticker, data plate on the drivers side inner front fender, the radiator support, and the metal frame of the package tray under the back glass, near the drivers...

    NOS side markers

I might be getting ready to learn something new here today! Is there a difference between A & B body 68 marker lights, plus differences between the body styles within each category? Something I've never even had to think about. My 68 Roadrunner may benefit from this...lol.

    Car show proposal

That is exactly why I prefer cruise ins. Show up when you want, shoot the bull with the guys and gals and then leave and go ride around some more. I got tired of the sitting in a chair behind the car, listening to the nit pickers, and doing the stupid question and answer game YEARS ago. Now, I...

DASH PAD FACTORY – EBAY “DASHPADSTX” ALAN FOXX AND ALANA -SCAM - THIEVES

Sorry he has devolved into that kind of business. I have bought 2 from him, YEARS ago when his business had another name that I can't remember. I bought them both at shows, one for an E body and one A body. He even cut the placard piece (thing where you put a new Challenger or Cuda sticker) out...

Loaded and ready to leave today

You too Don. I'm gonna get a good nights sleep and head south early in the morning. 7 hours, but it's a good drive. It's been a great weekend here. HUGE turnout, and the weather couldn't have been better. I think the Yellow 69 Charger 500 that was so rusty it was being held together with duct...

@1WildRT Randy, can you steer him towards the pics and info from where you put the 518 in the Challenger? Your version is the one I was referring to in my prior post. Everyone else goes to hacking and slashing and it just isn't necessary when doing it like you did. If I remember right, the...

I'm just a "Tater"....as in Spectator, lol. I did get in around 1, but Ted was running around like a head with his chicken cut off tryin to get set up. He told me to come back tomorrow and he would fix me up. What row are you in? I'll try to stop tomorrow and yak a little.

I'll keep an eye out for you Don. I'll be there tomorrow. Not sure if they still do the early entry thing on Thursday? If they do, I may come on out tomorrow instead of waiting till Friday. I need to pick up sheet metal from Ted, so it would be nice to get that out of the way first!

    Barn Find!!!! Well not really......

Does your wife still have an emotional attachment to it? If she does, fix it to where it will be fun for her to drive and very dependable (fuel injection) so she doesn't get discouraged and hate it. A Gen 3 Hemi swap is pretty easy in an E body. Maybe consider that along with a 518 overdrive...

    What appened to the "Nats"

I'm going this year. I haven't been in several years...maybe before Covid. I started going the first year they had it in Indy, at the speedway. 1983 or 84 maybe? I went to Michigan the year after that, then to Columbus for years thru the heyday of The Nats. I never went to Indy when they went...

Man, what a beautiful truck! I'm very happy for you that you were able to get it back in your family.
