It looks like a Mr.Gasket vertical gate but what are the pieces on the side cover?

your comment about the U-bolts being close to the housing end; I had parts from a previous purchase where the U-bolts were on the housing end....
and that is the sign of a true craftsman! (and a very good thing!)
