Since it’s a 5.2 / 318,
To my understanding, I can use the stock flywheel from a 318 since it’s an externally balanced engine like the LA 318
Not sure on the 5.9 to be honest. That’s one of the main reasons I went with the 5.2, simplicity of swap
I’m on the fence with my 69 Dart.
Just pulled my slant 6 and am getting ready to drop in the 5.2 magnum.
Not sure if I’m going 4 speed yet. Just worried about getting the correct pivot on the clutch pedal.
I might look for the correct one in the future or try to make a pistol grip one haha but that will be future task, I just want to get the car going.
Checking everything I can think of before pulling and installing the engine and trans.
Just picked up a 76 A833 OD that I’m going to be swapping into my 69 Dart.
Does anyone know to differentiate between a bench or bucket shifter?
Will a regular one clear the bench seat?

I’m looking at the American power train unit and it seems to look different than the ones in other pictures. Maybe they modified it to fit now?
I’m thinking of making my own kit as well
