Keep in mind that new parts are not always better than your 50+ year old parts. If your starter relay and voltage regulator are working I would seriously consider cleaning them up and keeping them. You can throw the new Chinese ones in the glove box just in case.

Those weren't really intended to be cigarette lighters. The engineers had enought foresight to know that 50+ years later everyone would need their own charging port for their hand held supercomputer :D

What is it with trailer hitches on these cars!? My 70 Swinger had a trailer hitch on it. It was probably a home made thing, made out of half inch thick steel welded to each frame rail with a horizontal piece going across between the rails. When I had it cut off 20 years ago, we didn't clean it...

Even up here in the great white north there are many summer days when it's just too hot to drive my dart. Or I have to go somewhere and I don't want to show up with a sweat-soaked shirt. So, for me, I would be keeping the AC. At least you'll be able to fund a bit of your build by selling the AC...

That is an awesome looking steering wheel! You guys in Brazil have so many cool parts. I'd like to have one of those steering wheels for my car. But I guess the steering wheel is like the road wheels and center caps - very rare and expensive?

Oh, and btw... I say keep the beak. I'm not a fan, but that's part of what makes it your 73 Dart Sport. Get rid of the beak and you have someone else's car.

WOW! Did they really need to totally cut out both rear quarters? They didn't look that bad in the original pictures!
