Dont remember the part number , but I have a new set boxed up in the garage , I had them on my 68 fast back , and never drove it with them on . I got a super seal on a complete cal trac system and pulled them back off.......if your interested .

old chrysler imperial shocks , with the eyes changed , " if need be " I bought mine at o`rilies or summit years ago , but took them back off for a caltrac set up ...

I have a polaris rs1 with elec. power steering , the best thing to happen to off road vehicles in years !!

dont know about darts , never owned one . i rolled the lips on my 68 barracuda , offset spring hangars, stretched the front of the fender wells to the inner panel , and kept the exact fender contour , some hammering of the inner fender panels in the right places , (from previous drag racing...

with a little work , you can fit 295`s in there ...

I didnt read all these posts ''not that interested'', but in my case the j bars are in the way in the engine compartment , when working on it . If I had to do it over, and was interested, I`d do the fenderwell supports !

I`ve got a pair of 350# , and a paqir of 500# springs for 12'' shocks , if u can use either of them ----

they are on a 68 barracuda fastback , I had them on with 002-003 springs and pulled them of for caltracs , ''not sure about that deal yet''. the imperial shocks are what chrysler recommended for s/s springs back in the day we ran 002-003 springs on a hemi belevedere , with imperial shocks ...

locating holes for assembly line , tolerances still existed .

better yet , get a new set of perches , cur one exactly in half on a band saw, keeping it very square and straight , then weld the half perches to the originals , using them to get the same angle on the halves, weld a small amount at ta time ,so as not to distort the axle , no fiddling with...

if both ends are measured and square off the crossmember , more than likely it`ll be good to go , it is supposed to be the one centralized /most accurate point on a mopar , according to ols chrysler info .

Or , u could just tape measure from the trans. crossmember to the rear axle shaft, compare both sides , no need to make it harder than nessesary .

ALL I `VE SEEN WILL KILL THE BACK OF THE SPRING IN TIME .

yeah, my calrac monoleafs have sagged too being it is almost all street car , have thot about putting my reworked s/s springs back on it , would handle a little better on the street.

no, I had to clearance my frame a hair (careful work w/ a hammer ) to use the front shackles . the guy I bought them from , said they wouldn`t fit his A body !--------???

I have the mopar ones , I guess, installed them and ordered a dana 60 w/ detroit locker , set up for the offset kit , ""3/4'' , dropped right in perfectly and been in there for 10ish yrs . !!

I dont get it , 002-003 springs wil bolt right on a 66-67 belvedere/satelite body , just moves the wheel 2'' forward , rear shackles can be a problem .

should bolt up to any A body.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^this ^ they only move the wheels if mounted on a B body !

Well luck hasnt always been with me , he`s kind of a stranger around HERE ! Might be , I got a good one , ever think of that ?

THE EARLY MAG. FORCE TUBULAR RACE SET UP -----no troubles w/ it for 10ish yrs, on the street- just replaced the rack and pinion and outer heim joints on the tie rods - my success w/ it is probly because the engine is on a motor plate , and not the k frame -------??
