Retro early console to later console. carpet added with 3 m sticky tape. Found cheap console selector light. Addition of wood grain. Bondo in gap with glazing. Here’s some pics. Light socket came from orilies $5 bucks.

Set the console in the dart after the shifter install. Seems to have large gap bigger on drivers side. Like an overhang. I know the carpet takes up some of the gap and then the carpet on the consol helps. Double and triple checked the shifter location it’s spot on with factory dimples etc...

Have a good shape chrome shift knob. Need a wood shift knob as car is a 72. Got a nice one? Well just swap?

I’ll get a pic of mine and post. I prefer the chrome but when I add the wood grain to the console it won’t match and trying to keep in right year etc

I need the steering colum head piece. Going from colum shift to floor shift. ?

Anyone to my rescue. Any ideas to locate the auto floor shifter hole? Rest will lineup if hole is right
