I'm sure it's pinging. It was 27* outside that morning, but yes, that's the temperature it usually runs at. I have a 160* thermostat in it, because before the new radiator it used to run hot and I hadn't changed it out for a 180* after changing the radiator last spring.

When I assembled the engine the timing marks were on point. I have a standard timing light and recently bought a new goal back timing light and they both agree with each other. Not saying that it hasn't slipped but I plan on verifying that this weekend.

Thanks, but it also pings with a 1406 Edelbrock, 650 Holley spreadbore, 600 Holley Vacuum secondary. The 390cfm gives me the best mpg and throttle response over anything else. I'll bump it up a few jet sizes and see what that brings. Thank you!
