    1968 Barracuda Formula s 383 4 spd

Pardon Our Interruption... I am always suspect of white cars as they hide bodywork well. Not to say the one in the ad is not ok. Price is everything. This formula S has been for sale for a long time. Granted it is more than 50K but it looks like a pretty nice example of a big block S car. If...

A story with a cautionary note to it

A bit of high temp grease goes a long way here...better than using oil. The headers might have saved you an engine! If the oil missed a single pipe exhaust manifold...OUCH I have done this same thing and also had a spring stick in an oil filter adapter. It was a 4 door fury 383 car and the oil...

    1968 Barracuda Formula s 383 4 spd

we are close to being on the same page Hero. LOL It's never cheaper to buy one painted and done from a flipper or restorer. The restorer / seller might have to eat a little if they went over budget, but they are always going to be more expensive than the guy painting the car himself that is...

that would put us at 43K. If a person was competent to restore it themselves probably around 30K. $17000 for materials and missing parts.

    ‘67 Barracuda Increased Fuel Capacity

you should be getting "ROUGHLY" about the same number of miles as you do per gallons of fuel available from a stock small block with a stock gas tank. 18 times 18 is 324 miles per tank. Even if you are beefed up and are not getting the full 324 miles per tank is it worth it? Unless you are...

    1968 Barracuda Formula s 383 4 spd

It's only worth what you can get for it... These cars do not do well on the internet. I have been watching them daily for years. It looks like a kick *** example and especially cool to be a S Notch with a 4 gear and exceptionally rarer big block car. Do I think it's worth 50 K? Not by a long...

Did I get to "Greedy" Today? Did a double car show Saturday and the ending not so good!

If there is ever a good time for an accident in a 69 fish it's when there are several 69 cars in the parts car Forum. That is a shame...I always fear Karrin will do that in one of our cars. So far, the Mopar minivan is the only one that was totaled...it was on loan to her oldest daughter. I'm...

    My first A body

That's a sharp ride. It's not too uncommon to covert the Valiant cars to Barracuda trim packages. We have seen it done numerous times and even Barracudas switched to Valiant trim. If the 318 likes the current cooling system I would leave it alone. I would expect it to be OK in Oregon. Welcome to...

    Panel bond?

I know people who have used aluma lead years ago to do this. I have never used it, but I know Mike Kohl had his Grandfather Jim Spinola used it when he built his 64 1/2 2plus 2 Mustang. Jim was an expert Union glazer, and they used Aluma lead where the rear quarters and roof line met etcetera...

Are Walmart Mopar oil filters good?
