Why are you mounting the starter on the right side? Most Mopar apps have the starter on the left side. That could be your problem.

It may be the angle of the photo, but it looks to me like you have the engine sitting a lot lower than stock.
What did you have to do to move the engine forward? Did it give you enough room to get the trans up where it should be?
Have you tried putting a floor jack under the trans and raising it? The rear of that intake should move forward when the trans is raised.
