Hi guys this Holley is 2 years old,never had a brand new carb,or having fuel boiling after shut down,have had a few hard starts.we know the temp go up after it's shut down. I have a Holley spacer,heat shield as you can see in the pictures.still bubbling. I could be off my rocker,maybe not but...

Just did some research it looks like my transmission shop is the go to ,too remove the bushing and shaft seal.wish I had them do this when the tyranny was out having the shift kit installed some 6 years ago.

I need a new or good 904 slip yoke,if I go used how can I know if it's any good, mine had a cap spinning I had a new joint installed 2 years ago and they tack welded the 2 caps, but it's a bandaid fix.thanks for you info.

If you have high rise intake with a spacer you factory throttle cable bracket is going to cause you grief,I had a sticking cable,very stiff cable.So I did this mod very easy and cheep.i just bent a peirce of steel to the right height bolt to my bracket then cut off the peirce off an old bracket...

After installing an holley heat shield my throttle cable had a bad angle.so I got an throttle cable adapter of e bay it raised the cable up 1 1/2 inches,but this adapter moved the throttle cable back about 2 inches,so my cable was short I fab a peice of steel from the cable to the carb work...

I just removed it all I had to do was tighten 1 screw good as new,sorry for hi jack the org poster.cheers
