O2 Sensor on a Carb Engine Question

I use one on a carb engine. You calibrate them before use and at least once a year. I use it as a guide because I’m running twin carbs at 5k feet altitude. I watch my plugs but it’s nice to have the afr. gauge when changing jets and other carb tuning. No issues so far, it’s a good tool.

[SOLD] ‘67 Barracuda Passenger side headlight trim

I have a nice restored pass-side headlight trim for a '67 Barracuda. There is some minor pitting on the chrome around the headlight but is not seen once installed. I purchased it here and decided to keep the one on my car. I've seen posts stating they will fit a '68, just one extra fastener hole...

    Thanking a fellow FABO member.

I almost didn’t install mine because of all the negative comments I read about running them on the street. Sure glad I gave it a try. I found a couple of six packs a while ago and just had to try them. They are a lot of fun but, I’m sticking with the T ram. Stock stroke 340 and sure woke up...

    Thanking a fellow FABO member.

I have been running a couple on the same intake for a few years. I installed annular boosters from Allstate Carburetors and fuel injection Home Page - Allstate Carburetor Made a big difference in performance. Good luck with your build, if you haven’t run a tunnel ram yet, I think you’ll...

    6 Pack Issues

Yep that’s nice to see and know that you have them installed. I’d go with what RRR has been saying, even though he has disappointed me. LOL He’ll steer you in the right direction. Keep us updated how it goes. I hope you find other work if this restructuring is a permanent thing. I was laid...

    6 Pack Issues

One other thing I have been doing over the years is to run the Edelbrock intake gaskets that block the heat crossover on the heads. I’m now running Edelbrock heads without the heat crossover. Takes a little longer to warm up and idle but in the hot weather it helps a lot. Looks like you have...

    6 Pack Issues

After reading again, did you ever have the engine running good with the six pack installed? The way I’m reading this is it ran good before the six pack was installed (no vapor lock). So after the six pack install, did it run good until it vapor locked just recently? Also after the vapor...

Now you had to go and blab blab blab it! I’m trying to get him to send this no good, vapor locking piece of old clunker parts to me!

    6 Pack Issues

Yes, you are correct about the fuel lines and accelerator pumps. But, I’m not sure what his linkage looks like. What I have, I believe it’s the factory setup, not 100% sure. Is adjustable so you can have the outboard carbs come in when you want/need them. Also the outboard carbs on mechanical...

    6 Pack Issues

The other thing I would try is run the fuel lines separately to each carb. That’s how the factory did it. Not sure if that would cause it or not but for most of the time, you’re only running on the center carb.

    6 Pack Issues

The easiest solution is to pull the six pack back off and send it to me. I am running a tanks Inc. in- tank pump with a regulator and return line to the tank. It works great. I think the simplest solution would be to try the filter with a return and make sure all of your fuel lines are away...

Are you running a mechanical fuel pump? There are threads on here that discuss using a fuel filter with a return that helps. Use the search function.

    High voltage Dart -67

You probably did the amp meter bypass? I did one a while back but no relay was required. Do you have a diagram or a description of how you completed it? Also, the voltage regulator and alternator are the only components that can cause high voltage. Have you checked your meter with another?

Am I missing what your voltage problem is? I see in the title it states high voltage. Give some more details for members to chime in for troubleshooting ideas and solutions.

    LCA bushing fear

If you have access to a welder, a 110 AC wire feed will work, and the time. There are good articles out there that show how to remove the factory slop while adding stiffening plates. Control Arm Stiffening plates

There’s no way I would put that back in. You already have it out, change the other side also.
