    6.1 Hemi with Hellcat SC

I don't understand why anyone would want to use the HC supercharger on an engine it wasn't designed for. For the same or similar money you can get a procharger, whipple, etc.

My "new" '74 Duster- or why I need a project like a hole in the head

I think the autocross at One Lap is non-competitive. Not that I would win, but I'd like to know people are really trying to do well and not just goofing off everyday. Yep, that's Rich Guido. Insane what that guy does with that car. It's actually an 8 second car. I think it was -40C when he...

My "new" '74 Duster- or why I need a project like a hole in the head

Have ya'll heard of Autocross Week? It's like drag week week, only instead of drag racing, you autocross everyday. It's put on my Jimi Day (FM3 Marketing), who is the same guy that puts on the Optima Events. The classes are the same as Optima. Jimi also hosts the grand champion events at LS...

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I'll be curious how this pump works without baffling in the tank. I've autocrossed with as little as 5-7 gallons left in mine with no problem, but I have the Tanks Inc. tank with the baffle.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

No worries. I don't have a problem using the DIY spacer, I just thought I discovered a neat new trick. DIY is are about an hour from me. I'll likely see if I can just pick them up.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I'm actually using the same ports as you are for the heater. The plugged hole in the front was 1/4" NPT and I drilled and tapped it to 3/8" NPT. I plugged the heater port from the inside behind the water pump. Only because I already had the timing cover and damper re-installed. I couldn't come...

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I looked at some photos on rock auto. It looks like the bolt pattern is the same, but the big difference I see is the height of the idler pulley mounting locations. Oh well, I thought it would be an easy solution. Might as well just get the DIY extension...

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

While checking out your heater hose fittings, I noticed the 09 and up water pump has provisions for the temp sensor. On the pre-09 models, its in the block. I'm sure this is due to the VVT changes to the block in those years. @DionR do you know if the water pump pulley spacing is the same on the...

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I'm the same way. I spend way too much time thinking about my car projects - been like that my entire life. My goal is to always make things look like thought went into and not just thrown together. It's a disease. It's way better than the guys that memorize sports stats and study players just...

    73 Duster 340 Suspension Recommendations

I've got some good used Hotchkis front shocks for sale. These shocks were an amazing improvement over KYB garbage. Only selling because I switched to an HDK. https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/hotchkis-front-shocks.556851/

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

I don't have a method to do that, but it wouldn't be accurate anyway. I need to know how much it actually rolls under real world conditions. The LCA bumps are only around 1" away from contacting the limits and it doesn't appear they have bottomed out. I need to put a dab of grease on it to see...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

Honestly never thought of ABS before. I knew there were aftermarket systems out there that cost a small fortune. I'll do some nerding out on this. Speaking of nerding out, I was trying to think of a scientific way to come up with the correct camber and caster. The problem is I would need more...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

Knowing what I know now, sliders are the only way to go if you want improved handling. It's a very noticeable change and its super simple to adapt them, so why not do it? Planning on hitting the autox on 3/10, weather permitting. I should have a good idea then. There's only so much I can do on...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

I think I upset the applecart enough on my post in the suspension section regarding my geometry improvements to my HDK setup, so lets move to something less conflicting, leaf springs. Hotchkis advertised their leaf springs as "geometry correcting". The leaf is bent in a manner that it lands in...

Gen lll hemi install in a 67 barracuda

There are a few options for mounts for A bodies. TTI - they have options for biscuit and spool mounts. Their mounts are designed to work with their headers. Accessories I actually have a set of p/n 57MMA that have never been used if you are interested in buying them. Holley - only works with...

My "new" '74 Duster- or why I need a project like a hole in the head

Looks like a beautiful area and that sized shop will be nice. I thought my oversized 3 car garage would suffice when I built my house, but it didn't take long for me to want something double the size.

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I have no intentions of shortening the arms. While widening my front wheels isn't exactly cheap, it's much cheaper than buying another set of wheels.

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

Lots of space at the UBJ. Currently the limit of steering stops the tire about 1/2-3/4" away from contacting the frame rail. The next closest interference is the tie rod to the wheel. Once I have a wider wheel, the tie rod would likely contact the wheel, but the tire will contact the frame rail...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I am the OP, keep up. I suppose you've never read a magazine or new article, or book with a title that draws you in only to learn something from the contents of such article. It's pretty much English 101. BTW, you still haven't shown everyone your car. With your expertise of everything the sun...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I'm not here to get into non-data driven speculative arguments. I'm not even reading comments from some participants. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the autocross session this weekend. I am going to try a small alignment change (reducing negative camber) prior to the March event and I plan to...

DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?

I intend to make something once the G3 is in there. No point in making making something now that may interfere with the intake on the G3. I also need to consider how much less space will be available due to the width of the G3. I have some preliminary ideas that will tie both shock towers and...
