Yea, they're fine without a tune but only small gains.. Tune will bring all the power out tho They're not that cheap anymore tho. I caught a good deal on a super low mile take out with lifters.

Agreed.. 5.7s are great little motors. I put a 6.4 non mds cam and lifters cam in hoopty with a hellcat oil pump. It's a great no tune option

Got all my ARP studs in the other night, grill and headlights last night and picked up my tires today. Again.. Ford parking brakes can eat a bag of d!cks. They are horrible to get back tofether with axles in.

I had an early 5.7 in another car that I had similar porting done and decked .030 and ran 6.1 springs. Had to run 6.1 pushrods on the intake side.. Still have a new set of exhaust floating around. Anyway, it was great combo with a mild cam and a 100 shot

I had to put arp studs in and run a 1/2" spacer to clear the 8.8 rotors.. Which pretty much put the wheels in stock...

Had to upgrade to 15 bbp in rear, so I grabbed a pair of 6.5 Rallyes that currently have 225/70R15s on them, which are garbage. Fronts are 225/70R14 on 5.5s. I like the look OK but thought I'd look at some others before pulling the trigger. Whip'm out fellas, let's see what you got!

Getting close.. Motor is back together and Arp wheel studs done on 1 side (only 1/2 my order came in) and the wheels fit great with 1/2" spacer...i just need to decide on optimum tire size for the 6.5 wheel.. Plenty of room. The other 5 arp studs should be here today. Not much left on my list...

Yes, the vvt and non vvt is clocked different. Everything looked good when it went together and came apart with new o ring. I'll replace the oring this time as well. I've read threads on other forums of similar oil pressures. Actually seems pretty common... I just don't want to be thinking about...

I pulled a complete setup out a 2013 (?) Charger V6 police car.. I believe they're all the same. Cheap and plentiful, even if you buy new. Butchered the stock lower mount to just bolt in and fab'd some upper brackets, utilizing the stock rubber inserts. Really happy with how it came out...

Just thought I should point something out... I discovered over the weekend that 15 Rallyes with 4.25 back spacing will not clear the caliper. I'm not even sure that a 4" BS Rallye would clear. I put a few washers on the studs just to see, probably 1/4" worth, and it was still hitting. Open to...
