    8.8 swap

No...alignment should not change except when you raise the front off the ground, then set it back down. Once you move the car, it will settle into place. If all the components are in good condition, the alignment will only change as the bushings and steering components develop wear.

I saw my first Tesla truck today.

I can't help but think that THOSE that buy and drive these electric turds are absolutely doing it to appear cutting edge or sensitive to the environment. I suspect the owners may rate HIGH on the test in this thread: Are you a narcissist?

    Does that happen often, Jeff?

    Are you a narcissist?

I REtook the test and aimed for the maximum... Answer every question with strongly agree and you'd surely max out every category. I had "agree" on only two but "strongly agree" on the other 26 questions. (This was for entertainment and research purposes only.....This was NOT my actual score)

There is an "engineer" on the other site that fits this description to the letter. Venture on over to check it out. I use this same screen name everywhere: Are you a narcissist?

    68 Charger steering issue

The shops that rebuild OEM steering boxes do VARY in quality. Firm Feel and Steer and Gear offer options to increase the steering feel and cut down on the overboosted sensation. Other vendors often just disassemble, clean and reassemble the units with no regard for addressing the loose...

    Are you a narcissist?

Okay, I'll be fair.... I laugh when stupid people get hurt. I know I'm not the life of the party. I don't care so much for violent movies or sports but I'm not against them.

Who here has the stones to take this test and post the results? Short Dark Tetrad, SD4

You could also say they look like something a teenage tweeker builds in metal shop class.

I saw my first Tesla truck today.

I saw one yesterday. This is a huge embarrassment for Musk. I don't see how anyone could look at this turd and think that it looks good. It reminds me of one of those movie cars that is used in some flick set WAY in the future.

A body with an A833 and a Gear Vendor installed

This seems like a real hodge-podge of an arrangement. I have also been of the habit of trying to make something work that wasn't done before all in the interest of saving money. Sometimes it works out, other times it is a complete mess that I've tried to make work. Why not just default to a...

Dart Suddenly Shut Off & Won't Start

Smart guys will first advise to check all of the negative grounds. The core support, firewall and electronic control module if you have electronic ignition. Next, the fusible link wire just off the bulkhead wiring on the engine side of the firewall. The fusible link burns out when something...

    Clutch fan installation question

If you are young or flexible, threading the nuts or bolts into place isn’t difficult. I’m not arthritic like some but I just can’t bend my wrists enough to easily thread a bolt in the tight confines of the stubby fan clutch. I get it done but it isn’t easy. The longer snout of the standard fan...

    Cars that sit awhile.

Yeah, I had a cheap cover that got shredded over the years. I’m sure This Holley needs at least a basic cleaning and a needle and seat. The accelerator pump is stuck too. This is usually from gunk in the passage. I’ve put this stuff in the tank… If it is working, it isn’t doing enough. I’ve...

    Cars that sit awhile.

I know that I’m not the only one like this. Car guys will sometimes have more than one of the cars they like. I’ve seen it across all models of cars too… VW dudes that have 4 Beetles and a van, Ford guys with two Mustangs and a Torino. We Mopar guys do it too. This often means we have cars that...

Here is one. These are all over the 67-76 A body cars. Hood, trunk lid, doors and fenders. I like to use this type for the intake and bell housing too.

    273 Commando - UTG

I do too. I looked at the big shop he was in and this new one. Hardly any tools, hardly any parts. I'm a retired Carpenter that works on cars as a hobby and I have 3 times the tools and parts in my shop. He comes across as a guy that wants to look like a car guy. I didn't see a MIG welder, no...

    Clutch fan installation question

There are numerous bolts used in cars that have a built in washer that does not come off. There may be another name for them, I called them captive washers because they don't leave the bolt. Every bolt retaining a fender has a built in washer. Every bolt to mount a valance does too. If I had a...
