    Pressing Piston Wrist Pins

I guess to be clearer would be if I asked just what it is that a machine shop is doing that cannot be done at home? I do machine work at home, I have lathes and a Bridgeport, there's no magic done in machine shops, it's simply careful and precision work. The UTG vid does mention a forge for...

Really, what's the point in working on stuff at all if we can just pay other people to do it for us. Seriously?

    Safe to run and drive?

If you don't have the ability to do a repair it'll probably be just fine. If you can though, cut the ear off the dead engine, do a matching cut on the new engine and weld the ear on. Easy repair if you have access to the tools.

    Pressing Piston Wrist Pins

Has anyone come up with a feasible way to do this at home? Or is it strictly machine shop time? TIA

There are two types of people

I find most people that like old cars not to be to judgemental like that. The '63 in my avatar is scratched, dented, and rusty but I always get compliments on it.

    1963 Dart L6 Heater Core

Just some random food for thought, it's been my experience that vendors often list parts for 64-66 and leave the 63 out as it's kind of an odd duck being a transition year and the vendors were uncertain. What works for the '64-'66 works for the '63. In fact I'm pretty sure I have a '65 core in...

    Brake Pedal Swap

So I'm going from manual to auto on the '65 Valiant. Can I just pull the two pedals and install the proper brake pedal for the automatic in place of the previous pedal, or does the entire pedal assembly need to be swapped out? I hope that made sense. TIA!

[WANTED] Holley 1920 Economaster (Slant 6)

There's quite a few 1920s on ebay, but none of them seem to be the Economaster. The Economaster can be identified by looking down the venturi of the carb; it as an atomizer that resembles a wagon wheel. I'll try to attach a picture of I can. Thanks!

    Cabin Temp Tip

Why would you do that though, some sort of religious reasons not to use a valve? For $15 I would think it would be worth it to have on/off capability when wanted, not stress the heater core by constantly pushing and pulling hoses on and off, and losing coolant which is pricey in of itself.
