Click the image for one of the first start ups of the wedge. Finally glad to have it running, but still have to do the exhaust, air cleaner, and drive the thing. Taking it to Cruisin the Coast in three weeks so its coming down to the wire. What air cleaners do you guys run with the dominators?

Well it's in the car. Me and a buddy from school dropped it in from the top to test fit the oil clearance notch and it's sitting on the mounts now. I did it this way since we headed to jacksonville fl for the gator bowl and I wanted it in the car before we left. Any of y'all from Illinois?

Stock K frame?

2" ttis? These headers can be put on one tube at the time. And I couldn't get the torsion bars out last week which is making me lean towards dropping the motor/trans in.

So I have a question for anyone with experience. Did y'all set the motor/trans on the k frame then drop the car on it? Then try and snake the headers in? Or option b is leave the k frame in the car and see if I can drop the motor/tranny in like the way the 360 came out. Prob have to pull the...

The 360 on the way to its new home, not too far away. I am gonna miss this little guy, it was a good running engine. I wish I could have afforded to keep it and drop it into a driver or something else.

It did good for what it was, stamped steel rockers and all ha. The new motor came up for sale and someone wanted to buy the small block and i dont think i could have upgraded the small block to the point of the big block for the money difference. And yes! No more having to drop to second gear...

Well, I finally got started tearing the car down to pull the small block and 727. I had been posting on here a while back when getting the car dialed in with LA setup. I am on break from MSU for winter holiday's so I am excited about my first engine swap. It feels good to do some real work now...

Getting ready to order my tranny and mounts to get this big block swapped in. Needless to say I am not sad to see the SBM go.

I already have this mildly build motor/tranny/converter combo coming out of my car which ran 11.71, plus I want to truck to still be a hot rod. And I bet I could still start in second and take that saturn down!

Well I just like the look of the dakotas, espcially once lowered and put on a nice set of wheels (CCWs or Vipers). Plus I am hoping to find a late model truck with nice paint and interior to buy and just swap my stuff into it. But yeah those trucks do get some good mpgs for sure!

Well I plan on pulling the 360 out of my car and putting it in a dakota r/t body style with a 2.45 gear or 2.76 with about a 29 inch tire. It should weigh around 3,800 and will be lowered. With EZ efi feeding the OOTB eddys and a small flat cam do you think 20mpg is achieveable at about 2k rpms...

Who has power steering??? And I am going with a 500 inch indy roller motor, and gonna try some 2'' tti's.

I agree, plus its just gonna be a pump gas street car on a 275. I dont need all that race car stuff!!!

Thanks for all the help though guys, looks like I am gonna have to go with the two rubber mounts and torque strap from schuemacher. He did say that he had a solid mount for the drivers side if I wanted to use a solid one on that side and a rubber one on the passenger side. I guess schuemacher...

Yeah I should have made myself more clear. I am swapping out my 360 for a 500CI WEDGE stroker motor and dont want to have to spend all the money for the schuemaker(SP) conversion mounts and torque strap (like $250) if I could find a moroso style solid mount for the big block in an A at around 40...

See title... I dont really want to pay for the torque strap deal from schuemacher(sp) and just want to get this stroker motor in without having to worry about breaking rubbers.

How much better are these heads than a Lil EZ 295 CNC?

Fenderwells do look good, but I dont think they would match the car. Plus I would hear it from everyone then about it being a race-car hah. And yeah I am pretty sure they exhaust ports are in the standard location, but I saw where tti didnt have them listed. I just wanted to see if anyone here...

I am putting a 400 stoker in my duster and need headers for the ez's. I read where mad dog had some and tti did too. I want 2'' full length preferably not fender wells, do any of you guys have these heads and what headers do you run. Thanks!
