Selecting power valve method Holley 4160

The best way to pick a power valve is to watch a vacuum gauge that you temporarily hang in the cabin while driving. That way you can tell exactly when you want the extra fuel to come in. I would guess you will end up with a 10.5 - 12.5 with as much vac as your engine has.

    PST steering

I run PST's 20:1 boxes in both my B-bodies, but in my lighter 70 Duster I have their 16:1. I think it is perfect in the A-body. Just something else to think about.

    [SOLD] Single Field Alternators

I have 3 extra 1969 and older style oem single field alternators to sell. 1966, 1968, and 1969. These were all original 37 amp models. My rebuilder installs oem style 60 amp internals in them. Not a lot of time on them, with the 68 being the least. Bolt on and go. $225 each. Prefer local pickup...

    Missing 3-4 gallons.

Before you go through the hassle of dropping the tank. Pull the sending unit and then make sure the pickup is resting on the bottom of the tank. I would bet it is not and a little bending of the tube will fix the problem.

    [SOLD] Harmonic Balancer

This is a nice 2614371 balancer that came off a 1971 440 4-speed steel crank, but would be correct for other years/engines as well. 7.25" diameter and the rubber is perfect. I cleaned it up and sprayed it with Dupli-color ceramic engine primer and paint. $35 picked up in west central WI. To...

    [SOLD] Push Rods

Set of 3/8" ball/cup push rods that I believe are Manley. I bought these new and ran them in a 451/Stealth heads/Harland Sharpe rockers/hft for 3000 miles. Switched to Trick Flow heads and now need longer rods. Overall lengths are between 8.302" - 8.307". Useable length looks to be 8.155" or so...

    [SOLD] Stealth Heads

440 Source heads 200-1055. I had them on my 451 for about 3000 miles. They had new valve seals put in 40 miles ago. The pushrod channels have been enlarged to fit 3/8" rods. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. I had some extra cash laying around last fall and bought some Trick Flows to...
