thanks I dont know It was painted before we bought it by the second owner. must have been paint in the late eighties or so. not sure.

car runs great I was driving it a short distance everyday to work now it sits in the garage. I have too many cars for my tight living area I drove it 400 miles straight from central Cal. These are getting hard to find with all the original stuff minus paint.

my starter (73 340 duster) sometimes just sounds like its just turning and not grabbing. Then I have to wait for it to stop before turning the key again or it will grind. do I need a new starter? thanks

Is there a write up anywhere on weather proofing an A body? Im going to replace all the old weather stripping. How hard is it to replace the windshield rubber seals? What else should I check? thanks

Ive got the same problem also the passanger side bearing is leaking tiny bit and coating the drum brakes. we just had the 8 3/4 straightend.

thats the size im putting on my duster (73) 340 all around Primewells 225/70/14 $37 each :-D, white lettering Probably the crappiest tire ever made but I can buy two or three sets at that price. Eh..we'll see. :dontknow:

ugh.. I just bought 4 vintage rallye wheels that need to be refinished. Bought them because I thought these tires would be ok date says (00). Came with dinged up rings and the original centers. I paid way too much for this set. Not going to say how much. Now got to spend more on tires...

there is some cracking between the tread. looks minor though the sidewalls are perfect. The interent can scare you when you look this stuff up. as long as they dont explode on the highway.

how worried should I be about driving on the highway (400 miles) with 10 year old BF G's RT's? Front tires have tons of tread left and appear fine. I dont want to buy new tires at the moment. thanks
